Spongy Cakes at Hoki Bakery Mount Austin

#familytrips2024 When we walked past Hoki Cake Bakery in Mount Austin, we smelled the yummy cakes. We had to try their famous double cheese cake, and it was so good! It's not too sweet and very soft. They were out of chocolate lava cake, but we'll get it next time. The sponge cake was delicious and a must-have. We were surprised that the banana cake was even better than the famous one in town. The egg tart was just okay, though. Hoki Cake Bakery is the first branch of a famous bakery from Taiwan. I like the name of the shop, Hoki means Blessing. But be ready for crowds because Mount Austin is always busy, even on weekdays. There are lots of other famous restaurants there too.
