Northeastern small town--Dehui

Dehui, an ordinary northeastern small town, prospered because of the railway Dehui is a small town that prospered because of the Middle East Railway. In 1903, the Middle East Railway was laid to Dehui. Because this area is located in the central position of the affiliated land south of the Songhua River, a railway station was set up here. Not far south of the station, there were seven brick kilns, hence the name Kiln Gate Station. In 1910, due to the opening of the railway, the population continued to increase, and the Qing government set up Dehui County. The station was also renamed Dehui Station, which has been completely preserved to this day. Today's Dehui retains many architectural remains of the Middle East Railway. In addition to the station, there are two national protection sub-items, the Orthodox Church and the former site of the Russian Overseas Chinese Middle School, and a large number of Russian-style residences scattered around the station. This is a small town brought by the railway. It may not be developed, it may not be exquisite, but it has the most simple appearance of a northeastern small town.
