Yilan Jiaoxi Dining Delights - Zhan Zhi Xiang Original Seafood

Jiaoxi is actually quite fun to explore with many places yet to be discovered. Besides trying the famous Ke's Scallion Pancakes, you can also enjoy seafood in Jiaoxi! Today, we visited Zhan Zhi Xiang Original Seafood located on the main road. Despite being on a main road, Jiaoxi isn't very crowded, making it spacious and even offering parking spaces in front of the restaurant. The dining environment features round tables for communal dining and clean restrooms are available! 🔸Fried Oysters The batter used is quite special, resulting in a smooth golden crust. With each bite, you get to taste the fresh oyster meat - very delicious. 🔸Squid Vermicelli Soup A must-try dish at Zhan Zhi Xiang. The portions of vermicelli and squid are generous, making each bite satisfying. If you finish the soup, you can ask the staff for a refill. 🔸Three-Cup Squid This dish pairs perfectly with rice. The squid is fresh and chewy, and the three-cup sauce is fragrant and tasty. 🔸Boiled White Shrimp Each shrimp is large and fresh. They are delicious even without dipping sauce due to their tender and bouncy texture - a must-order. 🔸Steamed Fish with Sauce Not sure what this dish is called exactly, but we ate whatever our friends ordered. The type of fish depends on what fresh catch the restaurant has. If anyone knows the name of this fish, please leave a comment below. The fish meat is tender with few bones. 🔸Complimentary - Fried Enoki Mushrooms & Sweet Potatoes These fried items are so addictive that you can't stop eating them. They make great snacks or appetizers.
