✈️ Cafe that will teleport you out of Hong Kong?

With open air seats overlooking a tranquil pond as the backdrop, @thehideout in Mui Wo has taken over Instagram by storm, so we went to check it out for ourselves. What you need to know before you go: 1. Book in advance online (hard to walk-in) 2. Check the ferry/ bus schedule (Central Pier Number 6/ 3M from Tung Chung) 3. Refer to the map on how to get there (it’s a 10 minute walk from the pier and you’ll pass through a parking lot) 4. Arrive 10 minutes early (to snatch the good spots as it’s free seating) 5. 2 hours dining limit (they’ll call you to inform your time is up) 𝐊𝐲𝐨𝐭𝐨 𝐇𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐖𝐡𝐢𝐬𝐤 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡𝐚 𝐋𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞 𝐇𝐊𝐃𝟓𝟖 The pretty presentation with a frilly four-leaf clover latte art enchanted me at first sight! Taste-wise, it was more on the milky and creamy side that suited my preferences. 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐧 𝐁𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐕𝐨𝐝𝐤𝐚 𝐏𝐞𝐧𝐧𝐞 𝐇𝐊𝐃𝟏𝟒𝟎 The penne had a sharp flavor accent, which made it a little spicy for me, but luckily the perfectly grilled chicken breasts totally made up for it. 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐚 𝐇𝐚𝐦 𝐏𝐢𝐳𝐳𝐚 𝐇𝐊𝐃𝟏𝟓𝟎 Parma ham and rocket leaves are essentially an irresistible combination. Loved the thin crispy crust and bright tangy tomato sauce, but the cheese solidified too fast due to the cold winter wind, so remember to eat this first!
