Po Toi Island's natural scenery is perfect for a weekend getaway.

You can take a boat from Aberdeen or Stanley to Po Toi Island. This time, we took the boat from Aberdeen. The boat was originally scheduled for 10 AM, but it departed at 9:37 AM because it was already full. There are extra boats on Saturdays, and the journey takes about an hour. Near the dock, there are some eateries. We tried the seaweed and luncheon meat noodles, which were quite good. First, we walked towards the lighthouse, which is an easy walk. Following the long seaside corridor up the hill, we reached the lighthouse. The scenery is so beautiful that it feels like being on the coast of Okinawa. Along the way up the hill, there were many campers. There were also many cute dogs hiking with their owners. After exploring this side of the hill, we headed up the other side. First, we climbed about a thousand stone steps to reach the summit pillar. After a short visit, we descended the hill, passing by Coffin Rock. The descent includes a stone slope, but it's not difficult to walk; just be careful. After descending the steps, we saw strings of dried seaweed hanging, and soon we reached the pier. I visited many years ago, but today it felt especially beautiful.
