New cafe alert in Tseung Kwan O! With friendly service, homemade food and a Japanese-style interior, @hygge_pizza_crepe really lives up to its name - hygge - the Danish concept of coziness through little things 🇩🇰 [𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐦𝐲 𝐀𝐯𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐨 𝐒𝐦𝐨𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐞] 🥑 The smoothie was ultra thick and creamy, but the avocado taste was quite mild, so it was nice that the orange zest added a little extra flavour 🍊 [𝐀𝐨𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐢 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡𝐚 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐤𝐞] Topped with chewy matcha warabimochi, red bean paste, a squishy dango ball 🍡 and plenty of whipped cream, the matcha milkshake was more on the sweeter side and basically a whole dessert in itself 🤪 [𝐇𝐲𝐠𝐠𝐞’𝐬 𝐍𝐞𝐚𝐩𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐧 𝐌𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐏𝐢𝐳𝐳𝐚] We were initially a bit worried about not being able to finish the entire pizza, but clearly that wasn’t a problem 🤣 The light crispy crust and Nordic umami tomato sauce made a nice base for the tender meatballs and melted mozzarella cheese, so we just couldn’t stop eating slice after slice 🍕 [𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐞 𝐒𝐮𝐳𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞] We felt that this dish was a little gimmicky, more for the eyeballs than the taste buds 🔥 The orange-flavoured Grand Mariner and the citrus peels made it a little too bitter for our liking, but the delicate buttery crepes were still enjoyable 🅁🄴🄲🄾🄼🄼🄴🄽🄳🄴🄳 🄸🅃🄸🄽🄴🅁🄰🅁🅈 1️⃣ Lunch at Hygge (tip: book a table via WhatsApp to skip the queue) 2️⃣ Minibus 103M to hike at Lung Ha Wan (easy) / High Junk Peak (hard) 📍 Hygge Shop G33, G/F, Ocean Popwalk, 28 Tong Chun Street, Tseung Kwan O (MTR exit A2) #pizza #foodie #hygge #hk #cafe
