The Resting Place of The President

Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum is located in the middle of Ba Dinh Square at 2 Hung Vuong, and is open to the public every morning, except on Monday. Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum is a solid square block, consisting of 3 layers with a height of 21.6 meters and a width of 41.2 meters, serving as the resting place of Vietnamese revolutionary leader and President Ho Chi Minh in Hanoi. The exterior of the mausoleum is clad in gray granite, surrounded by marble columns. Inside the mausoleum, President Ho Chi Minh's body is placed in the center with 4 soldiers alway standing guard inside the room. Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum is a work of great significance, it is not only cultural and historical symbol of Hanoi, but also attracts a large number of tourists to visit.
