Prince Bay Park is located in Xihu District, Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, China, adjacent to the famous West Lake Scenic Area. It is located in the Nanshan Road area, close to Jiuyao Mountain in the south, Jingci Temple in the east, Nan Gaofeng in the west, and Xiaonan Lake in the north. The park covers an area of about 120,000 square meters and is a beautiful place that combines pastoral scenery and mountain forest wilderness, emphasizing the design concept of "returning to nature and simplicity." 🍂Attraction Overview 1️⃣There are two outstanding stores by the west gate: Hubinju and Lanying. Lanying is more suitable as a tea restaurant, while Hubinju is recommended for a full meal. 2️⃣The lawn in front of the small church is a picnic paradise. Lying on the soft grass and basking in the sun is super comfortable. The lawn is surrounded by soapberry trees, and friends who have been picking autumn fruits here have had a good harvest. When you meet children blowing bubbles 🫧, you feel warm. 3️⃣On the way from Jiuyao Feiying to Fanghuai Pavilion, you will pass many beautiful small bridges. The water plants under the bridges are super clear, and there are small fish swimming. Walking along the water, you will see a relatively turbulent stream, where the famous Prince Bay Satin Green Water was filmed. 4️⃣The bench opposite Fanghuai Pavilion is a classic spot. According to experience, white dresses are the most photogenic. The nearby boardwalk is also very popular, but this spot is more suitable for portraits. Recently, there have been many red-clawed crabs at Fanghuai Pavilion, but I was unlucky and didn't see any. 5️⃣The windmill space is a small shop + fast food restaurant + coffee window, next to a large lawn, giving the illusion of being in a Dutch windmill. I saw several couples taking wedding photos here. 6️⃣After exiting the north/northeast gate, it is a few minutes' walk to Su Causeway, next to Huagang Fish Viewing, which can be combined with a visit to West Lake. 🚗Transportation: ⛵️Water Bus: You can take the water bus line from "Qianwang Temple Wharf" or "Hangzhou Hotel Wharf" to "Huagang Wharf", and then 🚶5 minutes to Prince Bay Park. The water bus line operates from 8:00 to 16:30, and the fare is CNY 15/person. Hangzhou residents can enjoy a discounted price of CNY 5/person with their ID card. 🚗Self-driving: You can navigate to Prince Bay Park by yourself. There are several parking lots nearby, including Hupao Road Chishanbu Parking Lot, Nanshan Road Su Causeway Parking Lot, Prince Bay West Gate Parking Lot, and Santai Mountain Parking Lot. The parking fee is CNY 20/hour on weekends and holidays, and CNY 10/hour on weekdays. Due to the tight parking spaces in the scenic area, it is recommended that you do not drive to avoid missing the entrance time due to the inability to park.
