Hwadam Forest: The Backyard We All Want!

Hwadam Forest is an example of the beauty of the natural world. It is an excellent place for hikers, nature lovers, and people looking for a peaceful haven from the busy city life. This arboretum is also eco-conscious, as the garden is made to protect the species in their natural habitats. The monorail ride was unforgettable, and we got the best views of Hwadam Forest and the mountains in the distance. We could even see the ski slopes from the ski resort in the distance. The monorail covers a loop of 1,213 meters, and the ride is very relaxed. You can also see the entire garden if you have little time to walk around extensively. The monorail has three stations, with Station 1 at the entrance, where we were to take it. Stations 2 and 3 are at the top of the botanic garden area. I highly recommend Hwadam Forest to anyone visiting South Korea. The arboretum is open in every season, and each season offers its unique beauty. Just make sure you dress appropriately for the weather, such as wearing layers in winter or bringing a hat, sunglasses, and sunblock in summer. You also need to make the reservation on the official website in advance.
