Best Views of Guiyang

Head up to DongShan park for incredible views of the city. The sunset is spectacular but it is very crowded at this time. This is a very popular spot for locals to go for sunset. There’s two entrances to the peak, the one in the south seems to have a lot more stairs and is the entrance used by most people. There can a bit of a jam of people all going down together after sunset. You can stay longer on top to enjoy the night view to avoid this. I checked the star charts and stayed until 10:30 to watch the moonrise. I’ve heard the southern entrance won’t allow you up after 6pm but the northern entrance isn’t as strict. #guiyang #guizhou #guizhoutravel #chinatravel #summervacation
