Shamian Island is a small island on the Pearl River, located in Liwan District of Guangzhou. You can go there and enjoy European style architecture as once the island was used as a consular area in the past. Definitely a most see place in Guangzhou! Where you can enjoy not only the architecture, but also please yourself in one of the many restaurants. Once you cross the bridge and step on the island it feels like you are in another world, a world where you can relax and enjoy your time away from the outside noise and everyday rush.
