Grand Canyon South Rim - another perspective

Another spot I have visited multiple times. The Grand Canyon South Rim has not only a spectacular vista but some really good information centres and artefacts to view. This Rim is a little more set up than the West Rim with a decent sized gift shop and information centre. I very much enjoyed being able to self drive here so that we could move along the Rim at our own speed. There is so much to see and do without going down in to the canyon itself. Sections of this Rim are fenced which is probably not a bad thing considering the number of people who visit, while other sections are completely open. A short drive east of the main lookout is a fantastic artefact museum. It is only small but we spent a good hour looking around the different displays before moving on further east to an old village ruin. Very fascinating and the cultural significance of the are is in abundance as you move along the different vantage points. Love coming back to the South Rim time and time again. #gooutside #naturalwonders
