It was a trip to Gijón, Spain 🇪🇸 We started our day early ☀️ in Gijón, a beautiful coastal city in the Asturias region, with a visit to the Plaza Mayor. This lively square is a perfect introduction to the city, framed by historic buildings, outdoor cafés ☕️ and the iconic Evaristo Valle Museum. We took plenty of photos 📸 of the charming architecture and the bustling energy of the morning, capturing the heart of Gijón. It’s a great spot to get lost in the local atmosphere while soaking up the morning sun ☀️ 📍Plaza Mayor, 33201 Gijón, Asturias, Spain We also explored Cimavilla, Gijón’s old fishing district. The narrow cobbled streets lined with colorful houses 🏘️ are a photographer’s dream, offering beautiful backdrops at every corner. We walked up to Plaza Mayor de Cimavilla, which offers sweeping views over the coastline and the Cantabrian Sea 🌊 We took some stunning pictures with the sea sparkling in the distance, while the quaint neighborhood’s charm enveloped us. This area also has vibrant murals and street art, adding a touch of modern creativity to the ancient streets 🙌 📍Cimavilla, 33201 Gijón, Asturias, Spain We also visited the Port of Gijón, where we captured some stunning shots of the boats bobbing in the harbor 😍 The Marítimo Museum is located nearby, offering us insight into Gijón’s maritime history. We couldn’t resist snapping photos 📸 of the iconic ships and the waterfront promenade, with the occasional seagull flying past. The lively atmosphere and the picturesque setting made it an excellent spot to wander and take photos 🙌 📍Puerto Deportivo de Gijón, 33201 Gijón, Asturias, Spain We also made our way to the Mirador de la Providencia for a panoramic view of the entire city and coastline. This elevated viewpoint is ideal for wide-angle shots 📸 of Gijón’s skyline and the rugged coastline. We spent some time taking in the stunning scenery and capturing the vastness of the view.
