Füssen

Located about 110 kilometers southwest of Munich, Germany, there is a small town called Füssen's old town. Many people know Füssen because of Neuschwanstein Castle, and many stay overnight in Füssen to visit the castle. Of course, most tourists come on a day trip from Munich or Salzburg, going directly to Neuschwanstein Castle. Because I was driving, I needed to stay in the town. When I arrived, the sky was clear and the sun was shining brightly, and I happily visited Neuschwanstein Castle. According to online information, I learned that Füssen is a beautiful town, so I planned to spend some time the next morning exploring Füssen. In the morning, it was cloudy, and the clouds covered the sun, with only occasional light and a bit of blue sky peeking through, which was considerate. The weather in the Alps is unpredictable due to its special geographical environment. Hehe, since I'm here, I can't give up; visiting the town is a must. It feels good, really clean. Not just in terms of cleanliness and hygiene, but also the people on the streets are clean. It was probably the weekend, and people were taking the opportunity to sleep in. The tourists had not arrived yet, and the shops on the street would not open until after 10 am, so it was quiet, with almost no one around except for a few scattered tourists and early exercisers. It was perfect for taking photos at will. The town is not big, with the Lech River winding by, bringing water and scenery to the town. There is a fortress in the town - Hohes Schloss Füssen, perched on a high slope by the river, guarding the bridge across the Lech River. Perhaps it was once built to defend the border, after all, this is the border between Germany and Italy. Right next to it is a monastery, and the church is not far away. I hurriedly walked around and was deeply impressed; it really is a beautiful and peaceful border town. I left photos for your judgment.
