It is also the filming location of the Korean drama "Descendants of the Sun", where the fate of Song Hye-kyo and Song Joong-ki began. The reason why it is called Shipwreck Beach is that in 1983, the smuggling ship Panagiotis ran aground here while transporting cigarettes, and the place was named after it.
