There are a lot going on, there are street performers, restaurants, cafes , souvenir shops and pubs. We really enjoyed walking down the Royal Mile. What more can a tourist want and need when Royal Mile has it all? Just be aware that everything here is a little pricey so prepare to spend more for food. Also, it requires a lot of walking and there is a steep incline so just take your time. You can just stop at a pub for a drink then resume a later. Enjoy your stroll!
