Once you arrive, you won’t want to leave; every frame of Yunnan looks like a painting. 📌 Route: Shenzhen - Kunming - Dali - Shaxi - Lijiang - Kunming - Shenzhen 🗓️ Daily Travelogue: Day1️⃣ Arrival · Where the Wind Begins Fly to Kunming in the afternoon, then take the high-speed train straight to Dali. Have a bowl of hot Luosifen (23.5r) for dinner. Stay by Longkan Pier, fall asleep to the sound of the wind (163r). Day2️⃣ Cycling · Chasing the Light Along Erhai Lake Wake up early at Longkan Pier to watch the sunrise, seagulls flying nearby 🌅p1. Rent a small electric bike and leisurely ride around West Erhai: Longkan → Haishi Park → Xizhou, stopping anytime to admire the red dawn cypress by Erhai Lake p2-3. In the afternoon, visit Chongsheng Temple and Three Pagodas for some peace (75r) p4. Stroll through Dali Ancient Town at night and have dinner at Shili Restaurant (82r). Day3️⃣ Self-driving · Turning into Shaxi at Dusk Watch the morning light at Longkan once more. Rent a car to drive around East Erhai, have a coffee at Wenbi Village (38r) p5, pass by Little Putuo p6 and Shuanglang. Drive to Shaxi at dusk and stay in the tranquility of the ancient town (147r). Dinner at Yilu Youshan (72r). Day4️⃣ Regret · Missing the Morning Mist Woke up early but missed the Shaxi morning mist p7, instead found quiet alleys. Drive 10 minutes in the morning to Pioneer Bookstore p8 for a sit-down. In the afternoon, head to Lijiang, first visit the Botanical Garden’s large prayer flags p9 (9r). Shuhe Ancient Town feels a bit commercial, so just pass through quickly. Have mushroom hotpot for dinner to warm up (128r). After dinner, stroll through the glowing Lijiang Ancient Town p10. Stay in Lijiang (200r). Day5️⃣ Snow Mountain · Close to the Sky at 4680m Climb Jade Dragon Snow Mountain p11 (entry 100r + main cable car 140r), reach out to touch 4680m. Spruce Meadow cable car p12 (40r) feels like entering a secret realm at the foot of the snow mountain. The blue of Blue Moon Valley p13 is like a natural filter, healing to the soul. Watch the sunlit snow mountain at Black Dragon Pool p14. Dinner at “Next Door Lao Wang” (53r). Day6️⃣ Transfer · High-speed Train to Kunming Take the high-speed train from Lijiang to Kunming (190r). Wander Kunming Old Street and daydream at Cuihu Park p15. Dinner at Guangyi Restaurant (100r). Stay in Kunming (154r).
