Tuya Street: Street art in Chongqing

If you enjoy modern art and street art, you have to pay a visit to Tuya Street when you are in Chongqing. It might be the best place in China for catching some of the most beautiful and creative graffiti. Tuya Street is quite a long street, near the local art university. Unfortunately there is no subway nearby, so you'll have to find a taxi to take you there. But it will be worth the effort. Because it's such a long street, you can easily spend a couple of hours there. All along the street you can find huge murals that cover the entire walls of buildings. But you'll also see much smaller ones scattered around. You may even place a tag of your own as there are plenty of shops selling art supplies.
