Next time, I'll visit Jingyue Lake in a different season

When I went to Jingyue Lake on Friday, it hadn’t snowed yet. The vast stretches of bare trees made many spots look the same, and the wind was strong that day. For someone like me from the south who is sensitive to cold, standing outside for just a minute made my nose start to run. Today, it snowed in Changchun. When a friend showed me pictures of the heavy snow at Jingyue Lake, I joked, “Of course it doesn’t snow when I’m there,” but the disappointment from this regret only lasted a moment. I consider myself very sensitive to happiness and joy, and I often confuse the two, thinking that joy leads to happiness and happiness brings joy. As small, simple moments of joy accumulate one by one, I feel happiness. The day I visited Jingyue Lake, the sunshine and my mood were both great. Before leaving, I even caught my favorite blue hour of the day. Actually, compared to lush trees, I prefer bare trees. I believe leaves make trees part of the scenery but also block the view. When I was in Guangdong, I often had a special fondness for bare trees. I suddenly realized that the leaves from these bare trees had fallen into my heart. Since I decided to travel to Changchun, these fallen leaves have slowly spread in my heart, laying the foundation for the joy and happiness I have felt since arriving here. I believe anyone who has been to Jingyue Lake will return again. I’m starting to look forward to what kind of scenery it will show me and what joy and happiness it will bring when I visit Jingyue Lake in a different season next time.
