Gardenesia

This is tucked away in the northern part of the island. A friend mentioned about it, and I was surprised by the crowd when I got there around noon on a Sunday - maybe the weekend crowd visiting the nearby Sungei Buloh Wetland & Kranji, and it was raining earlier. The rurual ambience is nice and relaxing, with the restaurant facing a large pool. Offers both western and local food. The food is tasty, presentation is nice too. I love the ceasar salad and the seafood platter. They also sell beer, quite a number of varieties. Price wise, reasonable with that kind of food standard and environment.
