👣A place that is worth a stop ! ▶️ I enjoyed a stroll around this house looking at all of the antiques. it is considered as one of the oldest existing residential structures in the country and a proof the Parian district in Cebu City was a bustling barangay where houses are often designed with a second storey. The Yap-San Diego ancestral house🏠 was built in 1675, according to tour guide. It was owned by the family of a Chinese merchant, Don Juan Yap and his wife Doña Maria Florida. The house mainly shows the Cebu City scene before the Spaniards came, with pictures of local customs and wonderful family stories, fully demonstrating the influence of China🇨🇳 and Spain 🇪🇸on the marriage culture of Cebu.
