Black Forest Snowscape

Stayed overnight in Freiburg, Germany. Woke up early the next morning and pushed open the window. Thick white snow blankets covered the houses, as if I had arrived in the Snow Queen's kingdom. Took a bus to the shore of Titisee, where the winter scenery was quite peaceful and dreamy. The sky was misty and the sun projected a ray of light from the clouds, like a fairyland. In German, Titisee means "Maiden Lake" and it is the largest natural lake in the Black Forest region of Germany, also a favorite place of Princess Sissi.
