Bergamo: Walk in the Renaissance Hall

🕍Most people may not have heard of this small town, or it may be overshadowed by Milan, but the airport for low-cost flights to Milan is located here. It is Bergamo, a medieval historical and cultural city in northeastern Italy, located between the Lombardy Plain and the Alps. 🗺️Bergamo consists of the modern lower town (Bergamo bassa) and the medieval upper town (Bergamo alta). The upper town is built on a hill and is the old town, while the lower town is built on a plain and is a modern residential area. From the upper town, you can see the lower town, with its ancient churches, red-tiled houses, and Italian villas, as if you are walking in a beautiful painting full of history. [One] Depart from Milan Garibaldi Station and get off at Bergamo Station, which takes about an hour. [Two] Walk 20 minutes from the station to the Accademia Carrara. On the way, there is a cozy homemade coffee shop called "Caffè Papavero." You can have a cup of coffee if you are tired of climbing. You can enter and exit the exhibition hall multiple times on the same day. The special exhibition is related to opera. Bergamo is very clean, and the churches and architectural sites throughout the city satisfy my desire to experience both natural scenery and cultural relics.
