Batu Ferringhi Beach - Penang, Malaysia

The most popular beach in Penang island is Batu Ferringhi and it is one of the top Penang tourist places and where the majority of the best hotels are located. Batu Ferringhi is a sandy beach about 2 km long. The beach is well maintained and clean, cleaned daily. The entrance to the sea is gentle, the bottom is sandy, however, due to the high concentration of industrial enterprises in the northern region of the island, the water is muddy and rather dirty, but calm, almost without waves. Batu Ferringhi is not suitable for swimming. There are showers and toilets on site. The time I went there the beach was not crowded. There are lots of restaurants, cafes, bars and food courts offering a huge selection of Malay, Indian, Chinese, Japanese, Thai, European cuisines.
