Why Batam will always be close to our hearts (Nov 2023)

Even though this Indonesian island is located just a few kilometers away from Singapore by sea, it never fails to leave us amazed by its wild beauty, very affordable accommodation and food, and superb option for a short getaway. And of course, Trip.com has so many great options and deals for us to book our next vacation to Batam (; This time around we visited Batam as a group of 3 families with young children. We wanted to have some family fun and so we decided to explore Panbil Nature Reserve Park. It was really easy to get there either by Grab or Gojek. There are lots of family and children friendly activities available at the park including ATV, trekking with the deers, and some of the more kid friendly stuff like feeding the farm animals (see images). Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay at Batam in Nov 2023 and would love to head back there again this year to try other exciting activities like kayaking and water skiing etc. and to satisfy our cravings for the awesome food there! #batam2023 #batam2024 #indonesia2024
