Breathtaking scenery with the beauty of nature. A photographer's dream. One of the most beautiful places on Earth we have visited. The turquoise color of the water is amazing. The winter in the Rocky Mountains should definitely be on your wishlist. There are so many beautiful mountains to see and nature to explore! Personally, I prefer winter, but I would say the end of summer/start of autumn comes in second. I've been lucky enough to go several times, and skating on the frozen lakes is hands down my favorite activity. It's really the best feeling! Other honorable mentions include walking around Lake Louise and driving along the Icefields Parkway. I'm planning to go on summer hikes here and 2024 might just be the year to do it + Have you ever been to Banff? If so, what's your favorite part? Well-maintained highways, extensive infrastructure. They have visited both in summer and winter.
