Inside shuttle bus on the way in and boat to get out Attractions - For regular price: glass bridge, one lift, stairs, walking down the river in the canyon, boat in the end. For 120rmb you can get a minimum of 5 attractions, including: zip line, vr flying over the canyon, butslides on 2 sides of the canyon, 2 lifts. Nice option for two people just share the qr code. How brave are you to conquer the bridge?

You can find this thrilling experience in Zhangjiajie, Hunan Province. Conquer the worlds longest Glass Bridge at the Grand Canyon and if you dare, try bungy jumping off it too. If you're scared of heights, there is a walking platform area on each side of the bridge pathway. If you're brave enough, walk in the centre on the bridge on the glass and experience your insides turning into jelly. You have options of taking an elevator and slide down to the bottom of the mountain. Once you reach the bottom, I highly recommend you do the 5km valley walk. Best time for this is late afternoon. Less crowds and not as hot. At the end of the walk, you will experience a 500m boat ride to the exit.

The Grand Canyon is a place that you can’t miss if you are in the city of Zhangjiajie. This place is surrounded with so much nature and fresh air that will make you feel recharged. It is not an easy hiking so it is not recommended for people with weak knees. Make sure you bring comfortable shoes and some water, this site requires long walking around (2 to 3 hours). In case of getting exhausted is possible to find some places to sit down. This trip was so much fun and beautiful. The hike and every step was worth it. Slipping and sliding across the glass bridge because it was slippery with the ice and snow. A few of us got better aquanted withe the bridge😋 It's nice walking across t bridge and look at t beautiful views. Getting There - We had a personal driver who took us to the site. I would recommend going with a tour group it just makes it more convenient to t around. Attractions - Longest and highest glass bridge in the world. There are slides, zipline and bungee jumping. There's also a short boat ride you can go on. Hotels - We stayed at the Pullman Hotel amd travelled from there. Food & Restaurants - There are kiosk you can buy food and drinks.

This’s a must if you’re in Zhangjiajie

This is a MUST if you are in Zhangjiajie. It’s just as breathtaking as the Avatar mountains. You will need a day for Tianmen mountain. It costs RMB275 for cable car and cable car down. We took the bus up to the first stop of the mountain then walked up to the Cave (mountain with the hole). Then walked up 1,000 steps. The view is amazing. From there we then took the world’s longest escalator to the top of the mountain. We then went from the West side (yellow route) and followed the mountain edge to the east side ;red route). Zhangjiajie - Grand Canyon

I booked my tickets to the Grand Canyon and glass bridge a day in advance. I used a travel agent on Wechat and the combined ticket cost 219rmb. I arrived at around 8.45am and the site was already starting to get busy. It opens at 8am and I would suggest arriving as early as possible! I started with the glass bridge, it was brilliant to walk over and fantastic for photo opportunities. On a sunny day however it’s extremely hot and I recommend sun glasses. After the glass bridge I zip lined down (50rmb) and got a slide (50rmb) the rest of the way to the bottom of the mountain. It was incredible fun and worth every penny! I then took a small boat journey (20rmb) to the walking trial through the Grand Canyon. This was very scenic and peaceful. I passed waterfalls, forests and a cave. You are then put onto another boat that takes you to the exit. The visit was exciting and definitely something you should do if ever in Zhangjiajie. I’ve attached a price list of other optional activities you can do such as bungee jumping. Echo Forest - Escape the hustle and bustle and enjoy a peaceful and comfortable vacation.

I traveled from Shenzhen to Zhangjiajie for the weekend. I spent several days on Trip.com looking for a homestay and finally chose Echo Forest based on the reviews. Echo Forest is located 10 minutes by car from the Grand Canyon Scenic Area. We took the high-speed train from Shenzhen North to Zhangjiajie West Station, and then bought a bus ticket at the West Station to the Grand Canyon. The manager, Jiao, was already waiting for us at the Grand Canyon and drove us back to the hotel. This was really great. In addition to the beautiful manager, Jiao, there are two beautiful staff members. There are also three cute dogs: the smiling angel Nian Gao, the cute native dog Dun Dun, and Xiao Liu. When we arrived, we saw the housekeeper and the three dogs waiting for us at the hotel entrance. We immediately felt warm and cozy, like we were returning to our own home. Nian Gao accompanied us during our stay. Wherever we went, Nian Gao went. He was very interactive and was really the pet of the hotel! Away from the city, hidden and quiet, Echo Forest is surrounded by quiet farmland and a large fish pond. There is nothing but beautiful scenery and peace. Looking at the calm lake, I felt like I was at Erhai Lake. The stress of the big city disappeared, leaving only the joy of vacation. The manager, Jiao, personally cooked us a hearty breakfast. The manager has her own vegetable garden nearby, and there is a kitchen in the hotel where you can cook your own meals. The manager, Jiao, will also personally cook Hunan-style home-cooked dishes. There is a large soapberry forest at the entrance of Echo Forest, where you can relax and pick the fallen fruit to make your own soap. During our three-day, two-night stay, the manager, Jiao, personally drove us to and from any scenic spot we wanted to visit, cooked for us, and served meals according to our schedule. After dinner, we played cards, chatted about everything, and talked about the past and the future, just like friends. To sum up this vacation experience in one word: warm.
