The Beautiful Landscapes of Sidi Youssef Dam
One of the major water infrastructure in the region; Yusef Bin Tashfin Dam, established in 1972, was built on the foothills of the Western Atlas Mountains, between Agadir and Tiznit, with a height of 85 m and a length of 707 m; It penetrates one of the canals of the Massa Valley, and forms an artificial lake of about 7 km in length with a useful capacity of 304 million cubic m for an area of 3,800 hectares, to provide the inhabitants of the surrounding urban areas with clean water, also irrigation for the plains in the Chtouka region, which is subject to a severe rainfall regime with an average of 100 mm/year. Thus, thanks to the dam, the Chtouka Plain, an extension of the Sous Plain, covers about 18,000 hectares of land devoted mainly to fruits, especially citrus fruits.

Discover Tifnit Local Village
The village of Tifnit is located on a rocky point south of Agadir (45 km). This cove is known for its fishing activity, its blue boats, its troglodyte dwellings and its village made up of basic buildings connected to each other.
When you arrive at Tifnit, after driving a few kilometers along an almost deserted road, you discover an impressive view of the ocean. Stop by car to contemplate the landscape and discover this magnificent little fishing port from afar.
Tifnit is one of the quietest beaches and is synonymous with: swimming, surfing, walks, fishing and the fish market. Be careful, however, of the waves, which can be quite powerful! The stroll on the beach, at low tide, heading towards the south of the village is sublime. The particularity of this route is to follow the cliff long inhabited by local fishermen.
Most of these cave dwellings have been abandoned. But the view remains heavenly! It is possible to walk for several kilometers.
Tifnit is also a small swell surf spot with some well defined peaks, but often subject to north winds. The village has several interesting spots because the fishing village is installed on a rocky point. The south beach is also a dream place for fishing.
