First row with sea view! Yeongdo Haenyeo Village, a must-visit in Busan
#100WAYS TO TRAVEL #seaview
Located near Gamcheon Culture Village in Busan, Haenyeo Village is a place that everyone will visit when they come to Busan. Here, travelers can taste freshly caught sea urchin, abalone, octopus and other delicacies, paired with incomparable sea views. They can enjoy the sea views while eating delicious food, adding a unique charm to the dining experience.
Signature dishes here include seafood ramen, sea urchin + rice rolls and abalone. The way everyone recommends it is to add sea urchin directly to the rice roll, which adds a sweet and fresh flavor to the original crispy texture of the rice roll. What impressed me the most was the abalone eaten raw. It tasted very crispy and sweet. Although I still like the texture of cooked Q-bomb, I still recommend that everyone give it a try.
For those who like to taste fresh seafood and local culture, here you can taste the seafood that the haenyeo have worked hard to catch, and also experience the unique customs and traditional culture of this small fishing village. It is also a fun experience.

I flew to Busan just for these photos.
Busan was the biggest surprise of my trip to Korea. The weather was great during my two days there. Unlike Seoul, Busan has the unique charm of a coastal city. If you have enough time, be sure to spend a few more days here!
📸 These are the photos I took of Busan. Here are the locations:
1️⃣ A classic Busan photo spot
📍 Near Cheongsapo Station. Many people take photos nearby.
2️⃣ Capsule train and lighthouse
📍 Search for "Ocean Breeze" on Google. After arriving, walk a little further up the slope. You'll see an abandoned building. The photo spot is on the platform in front of the building.
3️⃣ Capsule train and village
📍 Search for "Simmian" on Google. It's next to this store.
4️⃣5️⃣ My favorite Busan night view photo spot
📍 Search for "Cafe Cloud Hill" on the map.
6️⃣ Gamcheon Culture Village
📍 The observation deck on the commercial street of the culture village.
7️⃣ Capsule train and jelly sea
📍 Search for "Dalmaji-gil Observation Deck" on the map.
8️⃣ Capsule train at sunset

📍평화김해육뒷고기 Peaceful Gimhae Pork Back Meat
A more cost-effective BBQ pork restaurant than Weizanwang!
No tourists, only local Koreans.
Grilled pork, grilled pork skin, so delicious it makes you want to dance.
Cheese kimchi fried rice has crispy bits at the bottom like crunchy cookies🤤!
The grill set is a complete set, if not full, you can order more (120g/serving).

A taste you can't find or experience in Taiwan.

📍하진이네 Haijin Scallop House
Take the small train from Haeundae Tailpo Station to Cheongsapo Station.
There are many grilled scallop restaurants along the coast.
We walked in by intuition, and the walls are filled with signatures of celebrities.
It seems to be a restaurant recognized by locals as well.
The scallops are very fresh, the grilled eel is super chewy, and the view outside the window is amazing🤙🏻🤙🏻.
🚉 Cheongsapo, take the seaside train or capsule train.

📍Eom Yong Bok Pork Soup Rice
Arrived around 1 PM that day.
You need to take a number, waited about 20 minutes.
The soup rice is quite standard, very suitable for breakfast to warm the stomach.
However, there are quite a few Taiwanese people here.
Personally, I think the cold noodles pork set is better than the soup rice!

Exploring Busan: Delicious French Country-Style Brunch
Adorable Seomyeon in Busan is filled with cafes at every corner. Today, I woke up early to visit 'HASH TABLE' with its charming green wall. Although the interior is small, it exudes a warm French country vibe with delicate wooden decorations and soft tones.
The menu here focuses on European-style brunch:
🔰 French Toast / 12,900 KRW
Sprinkled with powdered sugar and cinnamon, the exterior is slightly crispy while the inside is soft and moist, almost melting in your mouth. Drizzled with maple syrup, it's sweet but not overwhelming, with a hint of spice. If you're a fan of French toast, don't miss this dish.
🔰 Basil Open Sandwich / 12,900 KRW
Topped with white grapes, tomatoes, and boiled eggs, with a layer of basil pesto. This dish is relatively mild in flavor compared to others, but it's a good choice for those who prefer a lighter taste.
🔰 Eggs in Hell / 12,900 KRW
This is my personal favorite. French baguette dipped in slightly spicy Arrabbiata sauce with a soft-boiled egg, offering an excellent texture and flavor.
🔰 Potato Soup / 8,000 KRW
🔰 Corn Soup / 8,000 KRW
The soups here are generally sweet with a somewhat powdery texture. I wouldn't recommend them, especially if you prefer richer, more complex soups.
Overall, HASH TABLE is a great place to enjoy a leisurely brunch, but it's a bit off the main coffee street, so visit if you have the time.

🇰🇷Busan, South Korea-Baekchandan Cultural Village 흰여울문화마을
#海景 Busan Haean Culture Village is located in Busan, South Korea. It is a unique cultural village that attracts a large number of tourists with its colorful buildings and art installations. This was originally a fishing village. After renovation, it incorporated artistic elements and became one of Busan's popular tourist attractions. The houses in the cultural village are decorated in bright blue, pink, yellow and other colors. Every alley and corner exudes a strong artistic atmosphere, making people feel like they are in a fairy tale world.
Visitors can stroll through the narrow alleys in the village, admire the various murals and creative sculptures on the walls, and overlook the beautiful view of the Busan coastline from the overlook. The Cultural Village also has many local cafes and handicraft shops, providing a unique cultural experience. Baiqiantan Cultural Village is very suitable for taking photos, exploring or experiencing local culture.
What’s special is that whether you’re enjoying the sunset🌄 or the night view🌃, this is the perfect place to go! This time I arrived in the afternoon, walked along the coast, then sat on a bench and quietly enjoyed the refreshing and relaxing atmosphere of the sea breeze. As time goes by, the sunset gradually sinks into the sea level, and the surrounding area is dyed with soft orange-red tones. Until night falls, the bridge in the distance lights up one by one, and the night shines with warm light, which is particularly charming✨. This is an ideal place for people to relax and enjoy solitude, especially for a moment of silence and self-talk.

A chillax session at O Kim's bar at Westin Josun Busan
#bars #100waysoftravel
I was invited to Westim Josun to have a booze at a bar called O Kim's, and the bar is super amazing. They have lots of alcohols to offer, like draft beers, Gin and Tonic, Brandy, Whiskey etc, and this bar offers a superb view at Haeundae Beach. The bartender is also very professional by matching the glass with various alcohols you ordered.
I managed to have a draft beer and Bundaberg with my friends, and the vibes and atmosphere is really good. This is a very good bar with best atmosphere, and is highly recommended to those wanting to have some alcohols.

Savoring the Sea: A True Local Experience at Busan's Jagalchi Market
#eatlikealocal #100waysoftravel #southkorea #busan #seafood
**"Eating Like a Local: Fresh Seafood Feast at Busan's Jagalchi Market"**
One of my favorite experiences when visiting Busan is definitely savoring the fresh, raw seafood at Jagalchi Market. The market is a paradise for seafood lovers, with endless stalls offering everything from raw octopus (sannakji) and live abalone to an array of shellfish, including scallops, mussels, and sea urchins. The raw octopus, still wriggling on the plate, is an adventurous delicacy best eaten with a dipping sauce of sesame oil and salt, providing a burst of flavor and texture. The abalone, tender and briny, is often served raw or lightly grilled, highlighting its natural sweetness.
Vendors skillfully prepare the seafood on the spot, and many restaurants within the market will cook your purchases to order, whether grilled, steamed, or served raw in the traditional Korean way. Paired with spicy gochujang, garlic, and fresh vegetables, each bite feels like a celebration of the sea, making it an unforgettable way to eat like a true local.
The seafood goes so well with a bottle of soju, just like a scene out of a Korean drama. An ajuma even helped us grill the shellfish and cut them into bite-sized pieces, despite the language barrier. Her kindness, along with the freshness of the seafood, made it an unforgettable way to eat like a true local.
