Just got back from a delightful trip to Bourgogne (Burgundy), France, and I’m still dreaming about the rolling vineyards and medieval towns! 🍇🍷 We started our journey in Beaune, the wine capital of the region. The entrance to the famous Hôtel-Dieu (Hospices de Beaune) was just €12, and it’s a must-see! The history, colorful tiled roofs, and stunning architecture were so impressive. 🏰 Afterward, we wandered through the cobbled streets, stopping by local wine shops for tastings. The Pinot Noir and Chardonnay wines were divine, and each glass seemed to tell its own story.
We then drove through the Route des Grands Crus, a scenic road lined with endless vineyards. The views were breathtaking, and we made stops at small, family-owned wineries to learn about wine-making and, of course, taste more wine! 🍷 We visited the village of Chablis, known for its crisp white wines, and had a delicious lunch at a local bistro, where I tried escargot for the first time. It was surprisingly tasty! 🐌
Our last stop was Dijon, famous for its mustard. The Musée des Beaux-Arts de Dijon, with its impressive art collection, had free entry, which was a pleasant surprise. The city's architecture and vibrant markets were the perfect way to end our trip. If you love wine, history, and picturesque countryside, Bourgogne is the perfect getaway. Can’t wait to go back! #trip #Bourgogne #WineTasting #FrenchCountryside #Beaune #TravelFrance

For Dijon, many people may not understand it. I am also in the same city. Walking in the city, I will find the trail of the owl. The third owl itself may be more famous than the city.
When we order French food, we often see the taste of Dijon. Dijon has a long history. Its city was built in the Roman era. In the Middle Ages, it was the capital of the Kingdom of Burgundy. The city now has a large number of historical and cultural heritage. Dijon has a flat terrain. There are no large rivers in the city except the Samurai River and the Burgundy Canal.
Burgundy is also one of the four gourmet capitals of France. Snail dishes, mustard, and Burgundy beef hot pot are all traditional Dijon cuisines, while Dijon is also the French Burgundy wine region. .
