Amazing view of Malabar Tea Plantation. The crowd can be highly packed 11AM onwards so better to come during the weekdays or early morning. Access was quite far from Bandung city, around 2 hours. Beware of some bumpy roads especially when it’s raining. Food was just OK, I didn’t tried many. ATV was a painful experience. Waited for more than 40mins bcs of two groups. Bad traffic management, bad queue, and uncomfortable waiting area. Helpful staff. Toilet was clean in the morning but when the crowd gets in, you can’t expect much #wecreate

My Heart Shooting Location

After visiting Kawah Putih, I headed to Situ Patenggang Lake. The drive took about 30 minutes, and I reached the lake just as the sun was higher in the sky. The view was beautiful, with clear blue water surrounded by green hills and tea plantations. I walked around the lake, taking in the peaceful atmosphere. The gentle breeze and the sound of the water made me feel relaxed. I went to the ‘Batu Cinta’ or ‘Love Stone’ area, which is known as the heart of the lake. Standing there, I could see the whole lake and the small island in the middle called ‘Pulau Asmara.’ The story behind the love stone and the island made the place feel special and magical.

Situ patenggang is really nice. Place is a bit chilly. If you came during weekend or their Hari Liburan the place will be really crowded. Lucky for us we came during weekdays and only have few people during that time. bandung trip highlight : ranca upas! (family friendly)

Deer Park @ Ranca Upas Escape We had an amazing time at Ranca Upas feeding the open-range deer. Carrots were sold in baskets for 20k each. We bought three baskets at first, but it wasn’t enough, so we ended up getting more. The highlight was spotting a fawn that seemed to be off to the side. My kids made sure to give it extra food, thinking it needed more attention. The chilly weather added to the experience, making it a refreshing outing. The interactive nature of feeding the deer up close was a unique experience, especially for the kids. It’s definitely a great spot for families looking for an outdoor adventure. Feeding a Deer in Rancaupas

We stayed at Bobocabin Rancaupas, and there’s Captive Deer Park next to it. We are allowed to buy veggies and feed them directly like this. But be careful, once they know you have foods they’ll start running and following you around :D There’s also strawberry picking garden that you can try as destination, the strawberries are big, red and sweet! Overall my experience in Bobocabin was really great. The ambience and vibes are really comfy and back-to-nature. Was really happy to be able to sleep while seeing lake as a night view.

#freehotelstay One of my favorite destinations after almost two years residing in Indonesia! Very nice if you want to have a short getwaway from Jakarta since they have the fast train called Whoosh now. I really like Kawah Putih as it is something very unique that I don't think I can find anywhere else. The ambience is super cool, you can get the view from the lake or from the sky bridge with quite reasonable price!

Pineus Tilu Camp Ground

#fallishere Went here in oktober 2023 with friends, and we had a pleasant experience. The tents are sanitary and are not very dirty. We did not get a pleasant sleep (which is expected when camping), but padding and sleeping bags were provided. Nevertheless, the experience would be much better if the restrooms were renovated and kept in a better condition. Seperating the showers and toilets would be good, and maintaining it is recommended. But regardless, they were not that shabby. The experience of waking up next to the river (and very cold weather) made up for it, and the views during breakfast were splendid. Would recommend for a one night stay only, and (in larger groups) staying in their Area 3, which has a larger and more private area for guests. The place remains an option for those who want to experience camping comfortably.

Upon reaching, you will be greeted by the aroma from the barbecue grilled chicken and the wide range of lok lok available. There are the usual broccoli, fishballs, quail eggs, mushrooms, bacon with enoki mushroom, crab stick and many unique to T&K Noi such as french fries wrapped in ham, cheese mantou, otah mantou, fried doughstick, sliced potato (chips) etc. The barbecue chicken came shortly after we finished selecting our lok loks. It was cut into 3 parts for easy consumption which i felt the owner was very thoughtful. The chicken was tender and flavorful and we like it very much. Our lok lok order came shortly after we finished our chicken. It came drenched with seasoning powder and dark sauce and it was so good!
