In the center of the old city is a magnificent mosque with a towering minaret shining in the sun. Surrounding the mosque, there are many ancient palaces and residences. These buildings are well preserved and bear witness to Tunisia's historical changes. Leaving the old city of Medina, I came to Bourguiba Street in Tunis. This street is known as the "Champs Elysées in Tunisia".
