Agadir Palais Des Roses Hotel
I spent 5 nights at the Hotel Palais Des Roses. The hotel on first impression is spectacular. However my room had no towels and nothing worked! Water was tepid & hardly ran out the tap. The heating didn't work. The tv no sound. The mobile phone charging socket broken! I asked the next morning to be moved & I was upgraded to a room the same but everything did work! The staff polite & friendly except the 2 receptionist who were surly & ignorant! The food was buffet style (I paid half board). Breakfast excellent including freshly made omelette & pancakes. The evening meal boring & lacking taste. I was told on New Years eve I had to pay an extra 400 Dirams to eat! Which I refused to do as I had already paid for half board. I was directed to the Hotel beach bar where I had to wait an hour for a pizza as there was only a couple of staff. Shame this hotel could be amazing!! Oh & the lift broke for 2 days! They did install a new one. Too big & many problems!
The best thing was the location it is right next to the marina and alot of shops and restaurants nearby.

Allegro hotel in Agadir - Excellent Location
Allegro was amazing. It is a modern, spacious and clean hotel. The superior room had everything we needed. The double bed was massive (felt more like a king) and was very comfy. Beside the bed, there are 2 USB ports on either side to charge your devices (incase you didn't bring an adapter) which was great! The shower did not disappoint and the Wi-Fi coverage was great around the whole hotel! No internet lagging or endless searching for signal.
The room has a small fridge to keep drinks cold, sliding door to the balcony, three drawers, hangers, a couch, desk and chair, Smart TV which you can screen mirror what you are watching on your phone/iPad. Four mirrors in total in the room which was great when getting ready. One mirror in the bathroom with another magnified mirror (perfect for makeup/doing your skincare) and there was 2 in the bedroom. One was full length (amazing for outfit checks) and another circle mirror hanged from the walls next to the bed facing the balcony.
There is quite a lot of options to choose from and there is something different every day for lunch and dinner. With all inclusive, you have unlimited access to lobby and snack bar so honestly it's a win!
The whole atmosphere of the hotel was wonderful. The staff are very friendly and nice.
The staff at the restaurant work so hard, constantly keeping the area clean and taking away plates. The security guards were wonderful too, so friendly and welcoming!
One thing we were worried about was noise from neighbouring hotels at night but thankfully we didn't experience any loud noises/music so peaceful sleeps for us.
Another plus about the hotel, is that it is only 5 or so minutes from the beach. There is a back entrance which cuts about half the time, and you just cross the road to get to the beach front. Allegro have their own designated beach area with chairs reserved for their guests and there's a security guard on standby which facilitates this.
McDonalds, KFC and Pizza Hut are about another 5 minutes down from the Allegro beach chairs and there is an array of other food places along the beach front.
Allegro also have an in-house basketball court, Tennis court, theatre which we didn't use but good for anyone else who may be interested, they have regular pool side activities and plenty of chairs around the pool for anyone that wants to get some Vitamin D. #agadir #morocco #hotel #allinclusive #holiday #tourist

Agadir the city with a little of everything
Wandering the streets of Agadir was a vibrant experience. The wide boulevards were lined with cafes, shops, and palm trees, while the bustling souks offered a mix of colorful textiles, spices, and handcrafted goods. The lively atmosphere, combined with the scent of fresh Moroccan food, made every stroll feel like an adventure in this coastal city. The blend of modern architecture and traditional Moroccan charm, with street vendors and music filling the air, made Agadir's streets a captivating place to explore at any time of day.
Exploring Morocco was an unforgettable adventure. From the bustling souks of Agadir to the vast dunes of the Sahara, every moment was a sensory feast. The rich history, vibrant culture, and stunning landscapes, like the Atlas Mountains and ancient medinas, made it a journey of discovery. The flavors of Moroccan cuisine, from tagines to fresh mint tea, delighted my senses. I wandered through narrow alleyways, discovering hidden treasures in the markets. The hospitality of the people made me feel at home, while the stunning sunsets over the desert left me in awe of Morocco’s beauty. From camel rides in on the beach to exploring ancient palaces, Morocco’s mix of tradition and adventure made it a truly magical experience.

Agadir is a great place to visit
I recently visited Agadir, and it was an incredible experience that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a blend of relaxation, adventure, and culture.
Beaches and Climate:
Agadir’s beaches are simply stunning. The long, sandy stretches are perfect for sunbathing, swimming, and various water sports. The weather was fantastic during my stay – warm and sunny, making every day a beach day.
Cultural Sites:
One of the highlights of my trip was exploring the old Kasbah. Although much of it was destroyed in an earthquake, the remaining structure offers breathtaking panoramic views of the city and the ocean. The local markets, or souks, were vibrant and bustling with activity, providing a true taste of Moroccan culture. I loved wandering through the stalls, picking up unique souvenirs and sampling delicious local snacks.
Modern Amenities:
The marina in Agadir is modern and chic, perfect for a leisurely stroll. It’s lined with a variety of restaurants and cafes where you can enjoy a meal or a drink with a view. The nightlife here is vibrant and offers something for everyone.
Day Trips and Nature:
Agadir is also a great base for exploring the surrounding region. I took a day trip to Paradise Valley, a beautiful oasis with natural pools and waterfalls, which was an unforgettable experience. The Souss-Massa National Park was another highlight, offering a chance to see unique wildlife and beautiful landscapes.
Golf and Wellness:
For those who enjoy golf, Agadir has several top-notch courses with stunning views. I also treated myself to a day at one of the local spas, which was incredibly relaxing and rejuvenating.
Cuisine:
The food in Agadir was another highlight of my trip. I enjoyed traditional Moroccan dishes like tagine and couscous, as well as fresh seafood. The variety and quality of the cuisine were impressive.#agadir #morroco

Agadir, Beautiful Beaches & Affordable Food
During my time to Agadir, Morocco I enjoy the affordable cuisine that is located all across the city alongside hand-crafted souvenirs and welcoming locals. When visiting Agadir I would recommend a walk along the beach where you’re able to take in the scenery and see glimpses of locations that Agadir has to offer.
The streets and city is clean and hygienic alongside the public transport systems being reliable and affordable. When using the public transport however I would advise checking out your pick up points ahead of time as navigation apps can sometimes be inaccurate. Taxis are also an affordable option in Morocco.
At the Airport you’re able to pick up a Sim Card with preloaded data and the staff will help you get set up. The airport was an easy process however it is important to note that Morocco uses printed tickets and not online or e-tickets for check-in, so make sure to account for time to pick up your tickets at the airport or print them off ahead of time.
In conclusion, Agadir is a great location if you want a lovely beach with consistently hot weather and great cuisine. The city is a lot quieter than the other major cities in Morocco and is located close to Paradise Valley which is well worth a day trip.

Where the western ridge of the High Atlas Mountains drops to the Atlantic, Agadir is a port and beach resort with year-round sun.
Even in January, temperatures peak above 20°C, bringing in Europeans in search of warmth and sunshine.
Agadir is Morocco’s favourite getaway, and its long sandy bay is fringed by an endless promenade and continuous row of hotels and restaurants.
Always in sight along the beachfront is a 300-metre mountain capped with the vestiges of Agadir’s old citadel (Oufella). The resort is constantly developing, and new attractions, like a big wheel, swish marina and modern zoo for crocodiles, have popped up in Agadir in the last few years.
There are many things to do in Agadir.
-Relax on Agadir Beach
-Enjoy the View from the Kasbah
-Visit Crocopark
-Day Trip to Paradise Valley
-Stroll the Walled Medina of Taroudant
-Learn to Surf at Taghazout
-visit Souk Alhad ( biggest market in Africa)
- go for buggy , quads, camel and horse riding or jet ski.
- sky diving in Taroudant is affordable
- visit Museum of Amazigh Culture
Labranda Les Dunes Dor - Excellent Location
Labranda Les Dunes Doe on Agadir is located in the perfect spot, the marina, shops, bars as well as a casino are all within walking distance.
The hotel offers guests access to their own private beach area where you can be guaranteed to have a sun bed available. There is also an on-site shisha night club which opens in the evenings and has live music which you can enjoy. The hotel activities team called Animation made my stay very pleasant as they gave me suggestions of what I can do outside of the hotel activity wise and helped me book the activities. If you're travelling with kids then this hotel is perfect as it has a children's play room and there are fun activities for children carried out by the animation team throughout the day such as dance lessons, swimming pool games, musical chairs.
The rooms were fairly basic, on my first night I noticed alot of ants in my room next to the balcony door, after complaining to the staff I was quickly moved to another room where there were no further issues through out my 7 day holiday. The staff were helpful and resolved any issues I had.

Agadir airport in Morocco is a fairly small airport which is a good thing in my eyes as this means when arriving at the airport customs and immigration checks are fairly quick, everytime I've used this airport for arrivals I have managed to get out of the airport within 30 minutes of landing, within this time frame your getting off the plane, going through immigration, buying and topping up
a local SIM aswell as collecting your hold luggage. only a handful of flights arrive and depart from here which is why everything loves fairly quick. When departing checking in is fast and simple and while waiting for your flight you have the option to eat at different cafes e.g. Paul Cafe and they also have a small duty free department.

Agadir city and it’s Kasbah
This morning we arrive in southern Morocco in the vast bay of Agadir. A morning tour will include time at the Kasbah, built to defend the Atlantic shoreline and offering wonderful views over the coast, and the Talborjt Mosque. We will drive through the fertile Souss valley to the gold, pink and orange tinted imperial city of Taroudant, a past capital of the Saadian dynasty. Explore the medina with its souks and climb the red ramparts and end with a visit to the Assarag Square. After a local lunch we return to Agadir to visit the colorful souk, Al Ahad. Rejoin the motor coach to return to your ship and sail this evening.
Anezi Tower Hotel
Classified among the best in Agadir. This hotel is perfectly situated between the beach and the centre of Agadir. It is also close to the shopping venues which are to be found in the town centre or the large souk which is just a few metres away, and Agadir-Al Massira Airport is only 21 km away. The hotel has a commanding position with a magnificent view of the bay and the city. This hotel is ideal for a holiday or a business stay in the city.

Morocco Southern Gate
Agadir, founded in 1505, has experienced peaks and valleys of prosperity, from a point in the 18th century when only twelve houses remained, to the bustling metropolis approaching one million that you will visit today.
Today's Agadir, with its modern architecture, is a favorite of European vacationers. From the pier, drive to the fort or kasbah set above the Atlantic shoreline, built to defend against the onslaught of Portuguese invaders who planned to call the Barbary Coast their own. The Kasbah is known for its breathtaking view over Agadir's almost endless beach.
