The Most Classical Library in Australia—State Library of South Australia
The State Library of South Australia is a cultural institution that combines a long history with modern design, located in the heart of Adelaide. Established in 1834, it is one of the oldest public libraries in Australia, aimed at promoting education and the dissemination of knowledge.
During my visit to the library, I saw a teacher explaining the history of the State Library of South Australia to a group of university students. Upon entering the reading room, I realized that a library could be so beautiful, with a classical atmosphere and a rich collection of books, each with its own history, and visitors are welcome to browse through them.
The library's architectural design is unique, with the main building completed in 1884, adopting a classical Victorian style. The exterior is mainly composed of red bricks and stones, showcasing a solemn and elegant temperament. The giant columns and exquisitely carved stairs at the entrance make one feel the weight of history and the richness of culture upon entering.
The reading room inside the library is a major highlight, spacious and bright, with high ceilings and large windows that allow natural light to pour in, creating a comfortable reading environment. The design of the reading room combines modern and traditional elements, with comfortable chairs and tables providing a quiet space for readers to study.
In addition, the library's arched corridors and exhibition areas are also very attractive, often hosting various exhibitions and cultural activities, allowing people to not only enjoy the pleasure of reading but also participate in cultural exchanges.

Trip to Adelaide 🇦🇺
It was a trip to Adelaide, South Australia.
When we first arrived, we were exploring the City Centre
We visited Art Gallery of South Australia, which was established in 1881, this gallery houses one of Australia’s most distinguished art collections.
Art Gallery of South Australia
📍North Terrace, Adelaide SA 5000
We also visited Adelaide Botanic Garden which was established in 1855, the garden showcases native and exotic plants, including the Bicentennial Conservatory. Definitely worth to visit! It was so beautiful and we really enjoy working around 💯

📍North Terrace, Adelaide SA 5000
We then visited Africola for dinner. We ordered the peri-peri chicken and the vegetarian dishes like charred broccoli 🥦 Surprisingly, all the dishes that we ordered were so delicious and we really enjoyed. Not only the food, the services and vibes were amazing as well ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

📍4 East Terrace, Adelaide SA 5000
We also went to the Glenelg Beach which was founded in 1836, Glenelg is Adelaide’s most popular beachside suburb with historical sites like the Glenelg Town Hall.
The view was amazing but we managed to take some good pictures.
We also visited Glenelg to Adelaide Tram Ride. It is operational since 1873, offers a scenic route between the beach and the city.
We also tried the most famous restaurant, Press* Food & Wine. We ordered lamb shoulder and the raw seafood dishes. They were all very delicious and the price was considered average for the quality and portion of food we ate 😂

When visiting South Australia, how can one miss out on those high-end vineyards
Coming to South Australia, how can you not take a stroll in Barossa, which is one of the most famous grape cultivation and winemaking regions in South Australia, known as the 'Capital of Fine Australian Wines'. Today, let me introduce you to a great winery - Yalumba Yalumba Winery.
About the environment: The environment at Yalumba Yalumba Winery is really beautiful, it's like living in a castle, with vintage buildings and lawns that are perfect for taking pictures. Holding an umbrella and tasting wine on the lawn is also a very pleasant thing to do. There are also many green plants and big trees in the park, walking around, drinking wine, and basking in the sun is really comfortable.
About history: The history of Yalumba Winery can be traced back to 1849, and the wine cellar is filled with countless aged fine wines, dazzling to the eye. Although the bottles are covered with dust, this is the trace of time, showing the history of the winery. Each visitor can bring back two bottles of wine from overseas, and I have given these two bottles' quota to Yalumba Winery.
It takes about an hour and a half to drive from Adelaide to Yalumba Winery, and the winery has Chinese-speaking staff to introduce the history and types of wine. The prices are also very affordable. For friends who like wine, you must go to Barossa to find your favorite fine wines.

The Spectacular Adelaide Gaol 🇦🇺
#timetotravel
The Adelaide Gaol, steeped in history and located in the heart of South Australia's capital, is a haunting yet fascinating destination. Walking through its formidable gates, I felt transported back in time, immersed in the stories of convicts and prisoners who once occupied these cells.
The guided tours provide gripping insights into the harsh realities of colonial-era incarceration, showcasing the original cellblocks, gallows, and prisoner graffiti. The dark history of the gaol is palpable as you step into the cramped cells and the eerie punishment yards.
The gaol's architecture, with its bluestone walls and looming watchtowers, adds to the atmosphere. It's a sobering reminder of Australia's penal past and a testament to the evolution of justice and rehabilitation.
For history buffs and those intrigued by true crime stories, the Adelaide Gaol is an absorbing and educational experience that leaves a lasting impression.

Must Visit: South Australian Museum 🇦🇺
#timetotravel
The South Australian Museum, nestled in the heart of Adelaide, is a treasure trove of knowledge and culture. During my visit, I was deeply impressed by the museum's extensive collections, which span natural history, Indigenous heritage, and world cultures.
Exploring the natural history exhibits, I marveled at the diversity of Australia's flora and fauna, from ancient fossils to vibrant ecosystems. The Aboriginal Cultures Gallery showcased the rich heritage of Australia's Indigenous peoples, offering a profound understanding of their history and artistry.
The museum's architecture is striking, with its classical façade and modern interior. The Mortlock Wing, a historic library, is a hidden gem filled with rare books.
Whether you're a history enthusiast, a science buff, or simply curious about the world, the South Australian Museum is a captivating journey through time and culture, offering an enriching experience that's both educational and inspiring.

Spectacular Adelaide Botanic Garden 🇦🇺
#timetotravel
The Adelaide Botanic Garden is an oasis of serenity and natural beauty in the heart of South Australia's capital city. Strolling through its lush landscapes is a calming escape from the urban hustle and bustle. I was immediately struck by the garden's diverse collection of plants from around the world, each thoughtfully curated.
The First Creek Wetland, with its native flora and resident wildlife, is a serene highlight. The Bicentennial Conservatory, a gleaming glass cathedral of plants, is a marvel of engineering and botanical wonder. The garden's historic architecture and themed sections, like the Rose Garden, offer something for everyone.
One can easily spend hours exploring, picnicking, or simply relaxing by the ponds and lawns. The Adelaide Botanic Garden is a horticultural haven, a sanctuary for both nature lovers and those seeking a tranquil urban retreat. It's a testament to the city's commitment to preserving and celebrating the beauty of the natural world.

Strolling around Adelaide city.
#vianasjourney
Maybe Adelaide wasn’t as busy as other AU cities but it’s honestly one of the easiest city to transport from one place to another. Most area accessible by public transportation either bus, tram or train. But walking around the city itself are enjoyable and fun. You can do a lot of shopping, dining and even many places you can take nice pictures for instagram especially during the nights. The lighting are really making the area more lively. Take note that if you wanna visit nearest area around the city, you may use the tram and use your own card for it as it’s also accepted visa and mastercard (info shared by station staff). There’s really no need to take the local card. But if you planning to travel further, a daily pass which cost 11.50 AUD are a better option.
Viana’s Journey
Hi, world, hello.
Hi~ world
After seeing the world, we frantically make up for the missed encounters of the past three years in the following two months.
Drive to Adelaide, Australia to see small animals.
Go on a self-driving trip to Luang Prabang, Laos and experience the French style.
Go on a self-driving adventure and explore the Garden City of Singapore.
...
In the future journey, we will continue to rent cars and drive around the world.

🍔Food/drinks: The breakfast wrap that I had was soooo delicious, it was really good and it could be made spicy which is a nice addition. The drinks were not so great tho. The smoothies that I ordered tasted just like milkshakes and not smoothie. So I didn’t enjoy the drinks but the food was great 👍🏻

The Taste of Nepal, Adelaide, Australia
A trip to Adelaide and met up with my friend who came from Nepal. I have been to Nepal and I quite enjoyed the food there. So he decided to take me to a Nepalese restaurant which he said it’s the best one in Adelaide. He made the order for us, from the drink, entree to the main, all very delicious. They’re all very authentic Nepalese food indeed! Staffs were friendly and attentive, good service. I’ve tried different types of momo(very popular local street food, like dumplings) when I was in Nepal, but the momo of this restaurant was definitely nicer. Thanks to my friend for showing me this gem in Adelaide. Recommend for anyone interested in Nepalese food in Adelaide, Australia.

The perfect beach for a chill Sunday afternoon
A very nice beach with clear water and fine sand. We sat down at Joe’s and had a delicious brunch. On the jetty it could be quite windy but the view was spectacular there. Don’t forget to grab a gelato at Bottega before you go. Must have! 🍦
