Savoy is a good hotel, as it is located in the very center of Mactan, not far from the beach. The staff is friendly, on the first floor they give a towel and an entrance to the beach. The room was quiet, as was the whole hotel. On the first day they gave a dessert, it was nice and sweet. The water pressure in the room is good, there was always hot water. A gym and a swimming pool are available. The hotel was very humid, so things took a long time to dry. The floor in the room was dirty, as if it was never wiped.

Safety: As a solo traveler, safety is paramount, and this hotel truly delivered. With security checks at the entrance and a second one in the lobby, I felt completely at ease throughout my stay. Facilities: Overall, the facilities were quite good. While not a brand-new hotel, the rooms were spacious and impeccably clean. The air conditioning was strong, and it was very quiet at night, which allowed me to sleep so soundly that I missed breakfast and ended up ordering takeout via Grab. The rooftop pool wasn't very large, but I went up to lounge for a bit. After several days of diving, I was too tired to actually swim. Service: Service was very responsive. During check-in, the staff mentioned I had the option to waive the deposit, and they even upgraded my room.

We had an excellent stay with the whole family! The accommodation was very clean, spacious, and comfortable—perfect for relaxing after a day of activities. The staff were incredibly warm and accommodating, always ready to help with a smile. The amenities were family-friendly, and we truly felt at home. Highly recommended for families looking for a comfortable and memorable stay. We’ll definitely be coming back!

⭐️⭐️⭐️ (3/5) We stayed at Crown Regency Suites during Typhoon Tino as a temporary shelter and checked in at almost 3PM in Villa #23. Unfortunately, we weren’t very happy with the accommodation’s cleanliness. The place was quite dusty—from the living room to the bedrooms—and we ended up sneezing several times due to the dust. It seemed like the villa hadn’t been properly cleaned or prepared before our arrival, and it also looked like it hadn’t been occupied for quite some time. We also had issues with the door lock, as our keycard couldn’t open it. The staff, however, responded quickly and changed the lock for us, which we appreciated. The living room TV wasn’t working at first, but they replaced it right away. There were also some water droplets in the master bedroom, which we understood considering the strong winds brought by the typhoon. The shower on the second floor wasn’t working, and the kitchen, living room, and service area floors (up to the second floor) were all noticeably dusty. Curtains were dirty as it has a lot of visible stains. Despite these issues, the staff were accommodating and polite throughout our stay. We requested a late checkout and they kindly allowed us until 1PM which supposedly have a late check out fee of 3k. Overall, we appreciated the staff’s assistance and understanding during the typhoon, but the villa’s cleanliness really needs improvement.

Hotel with a grand exterior, tight security and early 2000s decor. Hotel gave us a free upgrade facing the sea but it was also overlooking the port. Breakfast was not too bad, adequate options. Hotel also has sheltered walkway to SM city.

I stayed at The Pad Co-Living in Cebu, and honestly, it was exactly what I needed. The place is clean, modern, and well-maintained—perfect for someone who wants comfort without the noise and hassle of typical city accommodations. What I really appreciated was how peaceful the environment felt. Even though it’s in a convenient location, the space still gives you the privacy and calm you need after a long day. The rooms are simple but thoughtfully designed, and the common areas are neat, organized, and feel safe.

Really awesome and accommodating service. The resort is one of the best I've experienced in this part of asia, in terms of the food, room quality, all the hardware and service as well. Aloher was super friendly and very helpful, the front office staff were all kind and warm too. Breakfast was excellent, but might need greater variety in the fruit section. Location was slightly off the beaten track but the private beach as a result was perfect.

The hotel is fine and the staffs are accommodating. One important issue is the convenience of going from the airport to the hotel cause there is no lift in the parking area.

We had a wonderful stay at Costabella. The staff was exceptionally friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. We especially loved the private beach—it was clean, peaceful, and perfect for relaxing. The on-site restaurants offered a great dining experience, and overall, our family thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Highly recommended!
