"Stayed here before my flight out of KTM. Free airport pickup and drop-off is a nice perk. The downside: I requested late checkout due to an evening flight, but it was refused and I had to pay half-day rate. That was frustrating. Positives: Housekeeping staff were helpful (quick with fresh towels and trash), restaurant food was tasty, and the front desk gave a warm farewell. Good for a transit stay if you don't need flexible checkout."

"I stayed at Hotel Barahi Kathmandu for three nights and had an overall pleasant experience. The hotel is modern, clean, and conveniently located, making it easy to explore the city. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. Special thanks to Nicha for her excellent service and hospitality. The breakfast was good and met expectations, although the menu remained largely the same throughout my stay. A little more variety would be appreciated for guests staying multiple nights. The gym is well-maintained but quite small, and the operating hours are somewhat limited. The swimming pool is attractive, though it offers limited privacy as it is located next to the restaurant area. Due to my late check-in, I was initially assigned a room on the top floor. The room felt smaller and less comfortable than expected, and I experienced issues with the hot and cold water control. Fortunately, the staff proactively offered a room change, and I was later moved to a room on the fourth floor, which was much more spacious, comfortable, and better equipped. The location is one of the hotel’s strongest points, although traffic noise from the nearby intersection can sometimes be noticeable. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and appreciated the staff’s professionalism and willingness to resolve issues. With its convenient location, clean facilities, and excellent service, I would recommend Hotel Barahi Kathmandu."

"An absolutely wonderful hotel! I highly recommend visiting. You can enjoy a peaceful stay surrounded by the Himalayas. It's so quiet that you can clearly hear the calls of the animals. The hotel staff are beautiful people, full of hospitality, and they truly go above and beyond. Thanks to your thoughtful care, I had a fantastic trip. The restaurant offers a good variety and is enjoyable. Breakfast was a delightful mix of Nepali dishes and American breakfast items."

"It's truly amazing that they managed to create such a peaceful little courtyard in the bustling heart of Tamil Nadu! Plus, you can solve most of your needs right here without even leaving the hotel. I'll definitely be back! Facilities: The garden is perfect for afternoon tea and reading. A bit disappointed I didn't get to try the rooftop yoga this time. Ambiance: Quite good. Breakfast: Comparable to a 3-star hotel in China; it got a bit repetitive by the second day. But it's not a big issue, as many popular breakfast spots are within walking distance. Service: Attentive and reliable, and they don't intrude, which I really appreciate. Special shout-out: The shower water pressure! A must-have for long hair!"

"Excellent hotel, we really enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and bright. We asked for extra towels and they were brought to us without any issues. The breakfasts were delicious, and they even make individual coffees for each guest. The breakfast area is very cozy as well."

"First of all, the price is really cheap, and the location is not bad, in the Thamel area. The room is relatively clean and seems to have hot water supply. There are all sorts of shops nearby, and there's a kitchen for simple meals."

"This is one of the few modern and sophisticated hotels you'll find in Nepal. I booked a room without breakfast because my schedule was uncertain. After arriving and seeing the hotel's condition, I decided to book breakfast for the next day. The international buffet offered a diverse and clean selection of food, and it was delicious. Amidst the chaos and noise of Kathmandu, I had a quiet and clean stay here and left feeling well-rested. The quality was much higher than a 300,000 won hotel in Pokhara."
