Thoroughly enjoyed my 3 nights' stay in Consiana! Kudos to the hotel staff who provided excellent service! They helped me with the laundry service and booking of train tickets too.
Located off the main street away from.the noise, the access to Consiana is via the lobby of Central Hotel. Lots of good food options nearby. What I enjoyed most during my stay was the delicious breakfast with porridge, noodles , fried rice and fresh fruits. Breakfast is served on the rooftop (8th floor).
U can see the hot air ballooning and para motors soaring over the limestone mountains. I woke up early one morninv to see the hot air balloons taking off right in the field opposite!
Highly recommended to stay in this hotel for the views, breakfast and service! There is a swimming pool too, which i didn't have time to use. There are simply too much outdoor activities to enjoy in Vang Vieng!
This hotel is right in the center of Vang Vieng, so it's super close to the night market, main streets, and the river. The ground floor pool offers views of the mountains and hot air balloons, which is a nice touch. Vang Vieng itself is quite small. The room was pretty standard, and it served its purpose for an overnight stay.

The room was very clean and spacious, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Most of them could speak Chinese, which was a big plus. Breakfast was also delicious. The only downside was that the pool water looked like it hadn't been cleaned, so we couldn't swim. This might have been because it had just rained that day. Overall, I would still highly recommend this place. Just a heads-up, the central bar plays music at night, and while the soundproofing in the rooms is decent, light sleepers might find it a bit bothersome.

The room was huge and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel is beautiful with excellent customer service. They even prepared Muslim-friendly breakfast for us — the chef kindly cooked porridge especially for us. We could easily book tours to Nam Xay Viewpoint and Blue Lagoon from the reception. The location is great too — near Elephant Crossing Hotel to watch the hot air balloons and close to Viengtara Vang Vieng Resort.

Excellent! The hotel offers a fantastic environment, spotlessly clean and ensuring a comfortable stay. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and attentive, handling check-in quickly and efficiently. Its superb location provides easy access to public transport, making getting around a breeze. High service quality combined with excellent value for money made this a truly delightful stay. Highly recommended!
Location is quiet, away from the Main Street.
Next to a slow flowing stream so beware of mosquitoes.
View of the karst mountain can be obstructed if you are in the wrong unit like mine #035.
If blank off all the negatives, it’s quite a good place to relax and prowl your activities around vangvieng. Get a scooter and immediately everything is within reach easily. The roads around are ok. Ride carefully.
Super clean and Beautiful hotel with Gorgeous views !🥹🙌🏻Once again we were upgraded to Business suits rooms ! With Big and wide windows to see the mountains 🏔️ and clouds 🌧️ such a wonderful and beautiful place ! There were some small incidents like power outages and so forth but further than that the young gentleman in the lobby was always ready to help us 💕🙏🏻 we praise him for his hard work and making this stay in Vang Vieng so pleasantly happy 😃!!
The hotel is located in the center of vangvieng City, 300 meters away from vangvieg Night Market Pedestrian Street and 900 meters away from the famous JANG CAVE( chang Cave). The hotel has 2 restaurants, 1 rooftop bar, and each room has a large balcony where guests can enjoy the karst landscape. They can also enjoy Laotian beer, Laotian iced coffee, hot air balloons, and paragliders drifting by from the balcony

The hotel is on the main street, so traffic until late night. Even if I had asked a quiet room (I know it is not guaranteed) I was given a room over the main street and the funny thing is that the window door was not closing so all the noise was entering, together with smells (pollution and smoke from different fires). Apart from this, room was clean and comfortable. Smell from the bathroom where, in the shower, you only have the tall and fix shower head meaning you cannot just wash your feet if in need, every time you have to take a shower. Unfortunately staff was not so helpful (anyway polite). Pool always in the shade.

As the name suggests, this hotel is located right in the middle of Vang Vieng's streets, making it easy to find. It's connected to the neighboring hotel.
The street is quite noisy, so you can hear things from inside, but I guess that's probably true for other hotels in the area.
The room lock doesn't require a key when you leave or lock the door; instead, you simply push the center of the knob from inside to lock it. It's similar to the old-fashioned locks commonly found in Japanese toilets.
You'll need to turn the water level down quite a bit to use hot water in the shower. The button to turn off the light in the sink is a little hard to find, but it's next to the hair dryer.
Apparently, you leave your room key at the front desk to have your room cleaned. I didn't use it.
...
I don't know if you're the type of person who is concerned about a lot of things, but personally I didn't feel too stressed and I think the stay was worth the price.

Very Good
AAdalbertThe hotel is not quite new, that is obvious. The mirror on the room was missing, broken out by force.
There is no WiFi except in the reception area. The photo of the building shows balconies at all rooms on the photo side. But my room had none.
There was no daily room service.
For the rest it was okay. Well maintained, clean, quiet inside and mountain view from the windows. Small fridge, AC, full working bathroom. (Long waiting for warm water)
The breakfast buffet was great.
The swimming pool in front of the entrance was good. The seating area around poor. I really missed a bigger and nicer area, perhaps garden like around. Especially for I had no balcony.
I would go there again for sleeping and having breakfast. But for holidays I want to have a decent place outdoors as well.
AAnnaVichThis hotel was a bit of a mixed bag for us. Here is what worked and what didn't.
Pros:
Views: The property is stunning. It's wonderful to wake up and have the spectacular view that this hotel offers. The rice paddies are beautiful, surrounded by the karst landscapes.
Breakfast: Server artfully and tasted very good. The coffee is great. That said, there is little choice and you can't ask for any extras (you will be charged).
Location: Across from the main town, but we enjoyed it and everything is easily accessible. We walked, but they offer bicycles as well.
Cons:
Rooms: We booked a standard room which isn't on the rice fields. We knew this and didn't expect the view from our room. However, at the price point, we expected comfort and good sleep. The rooms are built over a swamp and mosquitoes get in through the cracks in the wooden floors. They had plug ins and provide mosquito spray to remedy this. However, the swamp is also home to many insects and frogs that make an incredible amount of noise at night. On top of this, there is a road right in front, so you get car noise too.
Long story short, we asked to change to a quieter room or check out after our first night. The first offer was to pay $40 more to upgrade to a villa, but eventually they moved us there for free, which we appreciated. The villas are certainly quieter though still quite rustic.
Service: Due to the above incident, while the service staff is lovely, the management appears to be just ok.
Price/quality: Considering the priced in Laos, everything inside the hotel costs a lot but it's not a 5 star property, so things don't really match up.
Ultimately, we had a nice experience once we were in the villa and were able to sleep. I'd recommend staying here for one night in the villa for the views or coming for a drink. But id not stay longer or choose the standard room.
GGemini112The bed is comfortable, the shower is hot and the room had a great view.
The included breakfast isn’t worth paying for and the wifi wasn’t reliable

GGuest UserFeel like having fresh mango for breakfast? The fruit selection at the buffet is epic. They have fresh coffee and mango smoothies. The rooms are beautiful, amazing view, bottled water, toothbrushes, even face towels. Quiet air conditioning and there's a ceiling fan too. The beds are comfortable - we got a triple room with 3 single beds- and the power points are right next to the beds. Overall, our favourite hotel for the trip. Oh and the pool is great. We spent an afternoon drinking beer on the beach chairs and swimming.
*We got our own tuktuk back to the train station for 30k each instead of the 50k offered by the hotel.

TTravel Loves CindyI had an absolutely wonderful stay at Lisha Riverside Hotel! From the moment I arrived, the staff were warm, attentive, and made me feel right at home. The location is stunning—nestled peacefully along the river, with breathtaking views that added a special charm to each morning.
Whether you’re looking for relaxation or a base to explore the area, Lisha Riverside Hotel delivers exceptional value and genuine hospitality. I can’t recommend it enough and will definitely be returning!
Jjns02Great Value with Excellent Service & Prime Location
The room was clean and comfortable for the price—definitely not a luxury hotel, but the service felt luxurious! The staff were incredibly friendly, and the receptionist went above and beyond to help, even arranging a tuk-tuk for me to the railway station at checkout.
One of the best perks was the convenience—the hotel offers bike and scooter rentals, as well as a variety of day tours. Whether you're interested in paramotoring, hot air balloon rides, kayaking, hiking, or exploring caves and lagoons, they’ve got you covered. If you’d rather book elsewhere, the location is perfect, with plenty of tour operators right next door.
The area is packed with different restaurants, and my personal favorite, the night market, was just steps away. There are also several laundry services nearby, making longer stays hassle-free.
The only downside was noise—the walls and doors are a bit thin, so you might hear doors closing or noisy neighbors. My room was on the first floor (right side), so if you're a light sleeper, I’d recommend requesting a quieter spot away from high-traffic areas.
Overall, a fantastic stay for the price, with outstanding service and an unbeatable location!
ps. You can also enjoy a quick swim by the pool before going to your room!
