"Generally speaking, I enjoyed the stay at the hotel. Convenient with its location close to the station. With nice hot spring on the top of the building. I experienced the M6 earthquake during my stay at night. The staff are quickly came to check the hot spring floor if all the guests are alright. The had blocked the lifts and open the staircase door to go down. The Public announcement through the speaker in room told the guests no need to panic… For housekeeping, they need to improve as we found our room did not close the room door after made up the room. HSKP card still left at the entrance and seems waiting for room inspection?? But we strongly concern our belongings and safety. The English level of the front desk team are so so. Few are below. Breakfast are alright. The menu are the same for my stay for 2 nights. Staff are helpful."

"I plan to stay two nights near Mount Fuji. I filtered accommodations by positive reviews and found this newly opened lodge. Almost all reviews were good, with not a single negative comment, and when I saw it was run by a Chinese owner, I booked it immediately. The location is super convenient, just a three to five-minute walk from the station. The entire lodge is brand new and spotless, with lots of Chinese calligraphy hanging inside, which made it feel very welcoming. The dining area is quite spacious, equipped with an ice maker, microwave, and instant noodles for purchase. A 7-Eleven is about a ten-minute walk away. The scenery is incredible. I just checked in tonight and I'm really looking forward to seeing Mount Fuji's snowscape tomorrow morning. I'll share photos then. The lighting design throughout the lodge is also very thoughtful, creating a great ambiance. The owner is from Zhejiang, and he's incredibly reliable. When traveling abroad, it's common to lose signal on your phone, so you can only communicate via messages. The owner's replies were quick and his information was accurate, which is truly rare when staying away from home. The room is very spacious and immaculately clean, and the furniture like tables and chairs is still new. But I have to emphasize this! In all my time in Japan, this is the first time I've encountered such a spacious bathroom; I absolutely love it! The kettle, and all bathroom amenities are fully provided, making for a comfortable stay. The lodge also offers vehicle rentals: electric scooters and electric bikes for 2000 yen a day, and regular bicycles for 1000 yen a day, which is excellent value for money! Most outside rentals require scanning QR codes for registration, which is a complicated process and hard to manage. Here, you can rent directly at the front desk, which saves so much hassle. This is a huge plus! This was a self-funded stay, with no cooperation or advertising fees; these are my genuine, heartfelt feelings. If you're a Chinese friend reading this, please give it a like! By the way, my initial thoughts for this review were quite scattered, but I used Doubao (AI) to help organize the sentence structure and logic. All the content is based on my own real experiences. The owner even gave me a gift when I left; I was so happy!"

"Hotel Mt Fuji has the best views of Lake Yamanaka and Mt Fuji. It is located high up on a hill and looks down over the lake. Shuttle bus service to and from Yamamakako iriguchi was excellent. The staff in 7 eleven kindly called for me to be picked up on arrival and again on the second day of my stay. The breakfast was the best in the past 2  weeks of my trip. Japanese breakfast is so delicious. The omelette chef was such a perfectionist and each was made perfectly. Staff were particularly helpful and the public baths , there are 2 different locations ,are excellent, both very different. The hotel itself is very old and dated and could do with a renovation. However saying that, the room was very spacious and comfortable. I loved being able to open the window which had an insect screen and have fresh air. The only thing I did not like is that you could not wear your yukata to breakfast. No big deal really. I would highly recommend Hotel Mt Fuji."

"Honestly cleanliness wise, -1 for it being just a little dusty floor (but you have slippers) and you may see the wood furnitures has some scratches due to age but otherwise you can expect a clean space 😁 location is about 10 min walk to bus station, Lawson and theme park. Has shuttle bus service to Fujikyu Highland Bus station & vice versa, so you don't need to go through other transportation hassle with your luggage. Service is impeccable with all friendly smiles and attention whenever they see you at their main service centre in the property. Every villa has rooftop full Mt Fuji view but if you want window Fuji view from inside your villa that will see your luck as you may be blocked by other villas. Nevertheless would recommend staying here for any family or group of friends. Decent facility to stay in and not go anywhere in Kawaguchiko too. Picture of rooftop view and around villa walkway."

"I booked this hotel for my family. You can take a direct hotel shuttle bus from the Mishima Toyoko Inn, and it's very close to Lake Kawaguchiko, and the Ropeway isn't far either. There are food stalls across the street where you can grab dinner. The free breakfast offers various breads, sausages, and even vegetable soup – they don't skimp on anything. The hotel corridors are adorned with paintings of Mount Fuji, and there are self-service lockers available. Whether you can see Mount Fuji from the cable car largely depends on the weather!"

"A lovely ryokan located about 8 minutes drive from Kawaguchiko station. The ryokan provide shuttle bus during check in, to call upon arrival (I called via trip.com internet call) and wait at platform number 10 for pick up. They also provide free shuttle bus service to oishi park (schedule would be informed during checkingin), and free pick up from Kawaguchiko station everyday during our stay. The staff were helpful and friendly English and mandarin speaking staff are available. The service was great, as this was my first time staying in a Japanese ryokan, so I wasn't sure if every ryokan provide the same service that there is a staff led us to our room and explained the amenities to us during checking in. The breakfast and dinner was superb! We were so amazed by the breakfast and dinner everyday. The room is equipped with fridge, ice water in jug, complimentary drinks and cookies, private shower, towels, hair dryer and outdoor slipper. You can wear yukata that was provided to move around the hotel. The room window and restaurant is facing directly at lake Kawaguchiko, unfortunately it was cloudy during my stay and we couldn't catch any fujisan view. There are indoor and outdoor onsen, with the outdoor onsen offering a Mount Fuji view. Changing room has locker but make sure u bring your room towel to the onsen. And like the other onsen in Japan, facial cleanser, hair shampoo, conditioner and body wash are available. The changing room is also equipped with facial cleanser, moisturiser, body lotion, hairdryer, and comb."

"The view and the private space for only two people at night, and the meal service were also great, and I had a very nice time. The free drinks and bonfire service were also the best. I thought it would be even more happy if there was a little more lineup of sweet sake in the paid drink. There is no convenience store near the inn, so it is recommended to visit after finishing the necessary shopping before check-in. Overall it was a very satisfying stay!"

When staying at Godere Hotel Fuji Yamanaka Tabist, you'll be perfectly positioned to explore all that Yamanakako has to offer. You'll find a restaurant at the property with a variety of dining options available. At this hotel, you'll have access to a bbq and vending machines. For extra convenience free luggage storage are available at the property as well. Guests arriving by car can use the property's parking lot.

"Our stay at this hotel in Yamanakako was absolutely wonderful. The location is stunning, surrounded by beautiful scenery and such a peaceful atmosphere. Everything was spotless and very well maintained. We stayed in a Japanese-style room, and it exceeded all of our highest expectations — spacious, comfortable, authentic, and truly special. The breakfast was delicious and incredibly generous. There was so much food that it was difficult to finish everything! The grounds around the hotel are also beautifully arranged and cared for, creating a very relaxing environment. We also had dinner there, which was excellent and offered at a very reasonable price. Yamanakako itself is much calmer and more peaceful than Kawaguchiko, so for us it was definitely the better choice. We highly recommend both the area and this hotel to anyone looking for a more relaxing stay near Mount Fuji. The only possible downside for some travelers might be the limited transportation options, but for us it was not a problem at all. There is a bus that circles the lake, and we easily reached Oshino, Fujiyoshida, and Kawaguchiko. In the evenings the town becomes wonderfully quiet, which was actually a huge advantage. After busy days in Tokyo, the silence and calmness here felt deeply relaxing. The hotel staff were exceptionally kind and helpful. We would especially like to thank them because my husband accidentally left his insulin medication in the refrigerator in our room. We did not even realize it was missing. After finding it during cleaning, the staff contacted us immediately and literally drove to the bus stop just five minutes before our bus to Mishima arrived to hand us the medication personally. We were truly touched by their kindness and care. This level of hospitality is rare and unforgettable. We wholeheartedly recommend this hotel and would gladly stay here again."

"During this family trip, the hotel's management was not rigorous enough. Our booking was for two nights in a premium Japanese-style room, but we were unable to check in on the first night because the front desk staff said the room had been given to other guests. Instead, we were randomly assigned a standard quadruple room. After negotiating with the front desk twice, they agreed to let us change rooms the next day. As a hotel by Lake Kawaguchi at Mount Fuji, there is room for improvement in its management. We hope this will encourage a better stay experience for all tourists."

I had a great stay at this hotel. The room was very clean, well-maintained, and comfortable, which made it easy to relax after a long day. One of the best things about this place is its location—it’s just a short walk from the train station, making it extremely convenient for getting around the city. The staff were polite and helpful, and check-in was quick and smooth. Even though it’s close to the station, the room was quiet and peaceful at night. Overall, this hotel is a great choice if you’re looking for a clean, convenient, and hassle-free stay. I would definitely come back again.

It was definitely an enjoyable and worthy experience of traditional ryokan with tatami and futon with the best view of Mt. Fuji from the room window! The hotel itself overlooks parts of Mt. Fuji with Lake Kawaguchiko, and we even added on dinner and breakfast during the stay! They are simply one of the best meals during the trips in Tokyo! The onsen is another bonus to enjoy while seeing the view of Mt Fuji, even though it is public hot spring which might be a culture shock. Definitely worth to try it out again to enjoy the traditional Japan vibes around Lake Kawaguchiko.

Pros: 1. The room was huge! 2. You get a full view of Mount Fuji right from the balcony window. 3. The staff were super friendly, and they even had Chinese-speaking staff members. 4. The hot springs on the fifth floor have both indoor and outdoor options. You can enjoy the views of Mount Fuji while you soak. 5. Both breakfast and dinner provided by the hotel were surprisingly delicious, and there was a good variety too. 6. They offer a shuttle service to and from Kawaguchiko Station. Just make sure to look for the shuttle with three hotel names printed on it. You'll need to remember the hotel's English name to identify it correctly, otherwise, you might end up waiting a long time at the station. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Mount Fuji!

I booked this hotel because the promotion made it seem luxurious, but the surroundings feel odd, almost like all the trees have been removed by purpose, littered with dry leaves and fallen branches. It feels dirty and poorly cared for. I was expecting a neatly landscaped area with grass and trees, but instead, the outside feels like a barren, lifeless space. That said, the inside of the room looks very good. The accommodation consists of two separate large caravan‑style rooms. They are not very spacious, but they are sufficient for a family of four. One of the rooms has slightly less living space because it includes a larger bathroom, with a full‑size bathtub. This is something you rarely find in Tokyo, where most bathtubs are quite small, so this was a pleasant surprise. Unfortunately, we struggled with the bathtub controls as it was written in Japanese, we couldn't use it after all. Also, the heating system are all labeled in Japanese, and there were no clear instructions in English. As a result, we didn’t figure out how to use the heating until the second night. We stayed for two nights in total. There is an outdoor spa area, which is interesting and enjoyable. We used it and found it quite good, although it is small. It works best for two people, three is a tight squeeze, and four would be uncomfortable. The sauna is decent and operates daily. Breakfast is served at set times rather than as a buffet, likely because the hotel only has 14 rooms. Guests must choose a time slot, such as 7:00, 7:30, 8:00, 8:30. We chose 8:30. Breakfast is a set menu rather than self‑service. Each morning includes a starter, a main dish, and some small item to finish, well enough for us. The first day was Japanese‑style, with a rice‑based dish. The second day was Western‑style, with a sandwich as the main course and fried eggs with pork belly. The food tasted good, but we would have appreciated more water. We did not ask for refills, as staff left the area after serving. Finding the hotel is a bit difficult. The entrance sign is blocked by a car park sign, making it very easy to miss. You need to drive very slowly, or you will pass it without realising it. We spent several minutes searching before realising this was the place. Be prepared to see a car park with two signs, where one directly blocks the hotel’s entrance sign.

The staff at Fuji Premium Resort went above and beyond to help us when we had some difficulties.  When we went it was snowing hard and had been involved in a minor car accident. The staff kept registration open late, got us food at no extra charge from the gift shop because the dining area was closed, and arranged transportation for us to get back to our car the next day because it was not able to get up the hill in the icy conditions and no other cost.  The rooms were nice and comfortable and the buffet breakfast in the morning was delicious.  Would absolutely stay with them again.

Although there are trees in front of the hotel, blocking the view of Mount Fuji from the room, you can walk to Oishi Park in less than ten minutes to see it. Transportation is also quite convenient, and the room is very spacious. The only downside might be a few small insects.

The hotel's front desk staff were warm and courteous, making us feel right at home. Our room had a direct view of Mount Fuji and cherry blossoms by the lake, which was absolutely stunning. Breakfast was included and suited everyone's taste. We also enjoyed the hot spring on the 6th floor. Plus, the hotel offered a complimentary shuttle service to the station, saving us a lot of hassle – truly excellent! The driver was incredibly nice too. This trip will be unforgettable!
