I highly recommend the top-floor suite with a private hot spring; it's spacious and opulent, featuring an exclusive open-air bath with unparalleled views. The food is also superb, offering a satisfying feast of Ise lobster, wagyu beef, and giant abalone. The ryokan also boasts public hot springs, a bowling alley, karaoke, and an arcade. Next time, I'll definitely stay for at least two extra nights!"

"Had a hard time understanding the check in process it was my first time using a love hotel , every thing is very private. The room itself was amazing. Lots of entertainment and an amazing Jacuzzi. Perfect place to recharge and refreshen after 15 days of walking."

"The open-air bath was amazing! The changing room, shower room, and balcony open-air bath were all connected, which was great. The air purifier and the corners of the room were a little rough, but it wasn't too bad. The staff were very helpful and polite when I checked in! There were some shops open until around 10 PM, so I could go for a walk even after relaxing at the hotel! I couldn't go this time, so I'll save it for next time. (T_T) I was shocked that the room service I ordered was cold. The room didn't have a microwave, which was a problem! The food was delicious!! There was also a snack and drink set that looked delicious! Thank you so much!"

"We used this hotel as a family celebration trip. The facilities were beautiful and lovely, but what really impressed us was the warm and wonderful service from the staff. Due to the earthquake in Russia, trains were stopped and we had no means of transportation, but they extended our check-out time and were very accommodating. The food was delicious, and each dish was carefully prepared. The breakfast buffet was also very satisfying, with so many options, including Japanese and Western cuisine, that we couldn't finish it all. We signed up for morning yoga, and started the morning off right in the open space surrounded by greenery on the property, listening to the birds chirping and feeling the breeze, which was a wonderful way to start the day. Next time we visit, we'd like to enjoy a cruise or something similar."

"Although it's newly renovated and clean, the air freshener sprayed in the hallway was so strong it was toxic. I had to cover my nose every time I walked through. The buffet offered a variety of dishes to enjoy. There was plenty of seafood, but the quality was rather low. The cakes tasted very much like frozen cakes, and I wish there were more varieties of fruit. The staff who spoke excellent Japanese were very friendly and pleasant! The guy at the front desk needs to try harder. The amenities were plentiful, and I appreciated the thoughtful touches like the welcome tea."

The rooms were beautifully maintained, combining traditional Japanese elements with contemporary comfort. One of the highlights was definitely the Pearl Aurora Onsen, which was incredibly relaxing and left my skin feeling amazingly smooth. The complimentary welcome tea and cheesecake, along with the evening marshmallow roasting by the lobby, were thoughtful touches that made the stay feel extra special. Both dinner and breakfast exceeded expectations. Every course was beautifully presented, featuring fresh local ingredients and refined flavours that made each meal feel like a special occasion. Dining in a peaceful, private setting made the experience even more memorable. The hotel also offers a convenient shuttle service from Toba Station, making it easy to reach despite its tranquil location. Overall, Shiojitei perfectly balances traditional Japanese hospitality, excellent cuisine, and a relaxing atmosphere. It was one of the most memorable stays of my trip, and I would gladly return on my next visit to the Ise-Shima region."

"The place is very good, the facilities in the hotel are also good, the hotel staff is also very good, there is a delicious cafe next to it, but the room is a bit musty, the air conditioner feels that it has not been washed for a long time, I hope to make the air fresher."

"I chose this hotel because the room rates were reasonable, it's close to the station, has a public bath, and includes a breakfast plan. The room was clean, and since I stayed for multiple nights, I only requested a change of towels and bath towels. The staff's greetings, polite language, and kind attitude made for a very pleasant stay. The amenities were plentiful, and I appreciated the complimentary ice pops and coffee. Although the bath wasn't natural hot springs, it was clean, and after bathing, my body didn't get cold, and my fatigue was relieved. I also used the self-service laundry as I had more stays elsewhere, and it was very clean and excellent. The Ise udon for breakfast was delicious, prepared proactively by the staff. I definitely want to come back here again for my next visit to Ise."

"We were quite happy with the hotel, which was fairly new and service staff were very helpful. While preparing my toast, a staff came back again to offer a tray. The common area was fairly adequate with a lot of seating, access to a microwave, small stove and fridge. As an added bonus, there is aluminium foil and plastic wrap available. Room size was decent, and the design of the layout was good. The hotel seems to be in the middle of nowhere, and it was noticed staff were extra careful to explain with the restaurants nearby."
