"Superb location right in the centre of Oxford. Good for those travelling without car. If travelling with car, you would need to park in Westgate or Worcester street car park.
Only opened in 2024, so the facilities are new and clean. Modern chic style. Spa is small, but has steam, sauna and experience shower.
The only thing was whenever we asked for something, it took us 2-3 attempts to finally get things delivered."

"The hotel is about two kilometers from Bicester Village. If a shuttle service were provided, the convenience of getting around would be greatly improved. Also, there's one check-in experience that needs improvement: the staff took my passport to another room out of sight for registration. I've never encountered this in any other UK hotel, which made me a bit concerned. I hope they optimize this process in the future. Additionally, the bedsheets in the room had multiple tears, so the linen maintenance needs to be strengthened."

"The hotel has very convenient parking, which is the first choice for self-driving tours. There is a restaurant downstairs, which is also the check-in place. At first, I wondered if I had gone to the wrong place, but when I got to the room, I found it was a different world. The hotel is very warm, with a welcome card and free fresh milk. Every decoration in the room is full of British style, even the paintings on the wall are full of stories about Oxford, and the toiletries are also very exquisite. I love the library downstairs, which feels like a university campus. The hotel is also in a good location, very close to attractions such as the Bridge of Sighs!"

"The service was decent, with daily cleaning. Breakfast was okay, nothing special. The hotel's downtown location is very convenient for walking around. I imagine the experience would be better if it weren't summer.
I was on the third floor, and there's no elevator, but carrying luggage wasn't too difficult, and you can always ask staff for help.
The biggest issue was the summer heat. The room got a lot of direct afternoon sun every day, and even though the hotel provided a fan during the European heatwave, it was still hard to sleep.
Good to know that the double rooms in the new building have air conditioning."

Guest UserThe hotel is on a bus route do is easy to get to from the train station and the centre of Oxford.
The rooms are very small but you have all you need, a clean bed, a very comfortable mattress, WiFi, TV and bath towels.
The got water to our shower was extremely hot and we couldn't make it cooler, but the receptionist will look into that.
The room was very clean apart from where one of the beds touches the wall, there is a lot of dust on the floor under there. But the bathroom was very clean.

Guest UserThe room key card was very unique. The Alice breakfast was a delightful surprise, and the lobby on the first floor had a nice ambiance. There's a museum right across from the hotel, and a bus stop next to it with service to Bicester Village, and apparently even to Blenheim Palace. The only minor drawback is that it's a bit far from the train station.

Guest UserGreat for self-driving, it's right off the highway. Parking is easy with a QR code, and I've attached a picture of the overnight parking fee. If you're staying longer than 24 hours, just tell the front desk and they can waive the extra charges on their system. There's a gas station and fast food like KFC nearby. It's also convenient to get to the city center by taking the 300 bus. Both the breakfast and dinner provided were excellent.

The hotel is a ten-minute walk from Blenheim Palace, which is very convenient. If you are in Oxford the night before, you can stay here and go directly to Churchill Manor the next morning.
The house is an old house, but it is quite clean. Better than expected.
The only thing that is not satisfactory is the receptionist on the evening of October 5th. Her coldness makes people think that they are in Germany instead of Britain, but as a front desk receptionist, she does not even have the most basic polite greetings (such as hello, welcome) and her attitude is not like a German at all. I have never encountered such service quality in the UK, which is very unprofessional, so I choose 2 points (unsatisfied) for the service. If you don't want to spend money to see a big cold face, you can choose other hotels nearby.

Although it's not in the city center, it's incredibly convenient – just a 10-minute bus ride on the number 6 from downtown directly to the hotel. It's a large resort, perfect for those traveling by car. The hotel itself is beautiful, allowing us to experience the scenic British countryside while exploring Oxford.

Guest UserWe have stayed here twice. The first time (2025) we were in the block which is separate to the main building- this was OK and the service was much better.
The latest time we stayed we were in the main building- its grotty. The carpet leading to the rooms was stained and the room itself although it looked clean, didn't 'feel clean'-the place could do with a refresh and new carpets.
We were unable to get food upon arrival as they stop serving at 9pm- we arrived a couloe of minutes before 9pm after a 4 hour drive, we were disappointe and we could see a couple eating in the bar area whose meals came out long after we had arrived- so really we could have ordered and been served. We ended up ordering an Uber eats meal.

We stayed here as it was in close proximity to Bicester Village and Clarksons Farm. The room and main bar / reception was modern and stylish and the staff were friendly and attentive. The shower was amazing, beds were comfortable. The food in the diner was great but service very slow. Would definitely stay here again.
