The room was beautifully decorated and had a lovely view overlooking the street—it really added to the charm of the stay. There’s a parking lot right next to the property, which made things super convenient. The surrounding area is a picturesque little town, perfect for a relaxing walk and sightseeing. Highly recommend this place for a peaceful and scenic getaway!

It was an incredible experience to be able to stay in a house like this cute fairy tale for about 40,000 yen with a family! It makes me feel like I bought a house in France. The garden is beautiful and there are plenty of amenities (soap, coffee, tea, hair dryer, towels, etc.). Staff was also kind and it was a very comfortable stay. The only thing that was unfortunate was that the radio waves were too weak to connect to Wi-Fi. However, the staff did their best to connect to free radio waves and it wasn't a big problem because I have an eSIM. The problem is my father. I wonder why I have to bring work to my travel destination in the first place, and I was frustrated that I couldn't use my PC and couldn't work even though I could do as much as I could. So please come after you clean up your work. Then you can have a really nice experience. I didn't have time to hate and I couldn't have an elegant experience of having breakfast on a nice terrace. But it was a nice inn that I would like to come back again for that experience! It's not a place to travel easily from the location of the city, but I think Japanese people especially love this place. It's an atmosphere and scenery that is absolutely unavailable in Japan ... I could understand why overseas people want to stay in traditional Japanese houses. It is the feeling that everyone wants to know and the feeling that I want to keep secret forever 々. The number of beds is also sufficient, and the toilet and shower room are separated!

The room facilities are relatively new and meet 4-star standards. I requested a high floor when booking, and I called the hotel a few days before check-in to confirm it. I didn't expect to be given the first floor in France when I checked in. I wanted to communicate with the hotel through Ctrip's customer service in China to see if I could change to a higher floor. As a result, the hotel's front desk staff hung up the phone directly because they didn't speak English. This attitude is rare. Fortunately, the windows are double-glazed and soundproof. The terminus of bus No. 3 is downstairs. The departure time of buses in France is relatively long, and there is still noise when the vehicles are waiting and idling. The hotel's breakfast is 16 euros per person, which is a bit expensive, but the orange juice and drinks are all Bio

The location is right next to the light rail line and it is very convenient to go to the beach. The breakfast is simple but pretty good. The service staff is very friendly. The facilities in the room are quite new. It is worth recommending.

New Hotel. The Spa area is so small that you actually need to book it well in advance if you are planning to use it.. As most likely the slot which you would like is already taken. It's charged per hour... Overnight parking is €19. Very irritating is the shower in the bathroom as the water goes between too hot and too cold on its own pattern and you can't control it.. Typical for the buildings with the plumbing issues, or the water pressure..

A very decent hotel, fairly new and modern. The rooms and public spaces are clean at a high level. The standard room is quite large, and there is also enough space in the bathroom. Good bedding and linens. Normal WIFI. The window opens, you can ventilate the room, although there is no air conditioning, which may be uncomfortable in the summer. A significant minus is the distance from the center. It takes about half an hour to walk. The advantages of the location include a huge Carrefour five minutes away and a bus stop to Etretat right outside the windows. An additional bonus is the presence of Russian-speaking staff at the reception.

SShawnHere's a unique hotel - housed in a old mansion from the 1900s. This means that each room in the original wing is a little different and 'eclectic'. There's also a new wing with newer rooms, a spa, a swimming pool (sorta heated), a bistro and a 1 Michelin star restaurant. Pros: - Unique style of hotel that's set away from the hustle/bustle of the Etritat town. - Helpful staff - Complimentary bakes and hot drinks from 4-6pm - Michelin-star restaurant on site (but it was closed during our visit) - Comfortable beds, good water pressure and a bathtub - Professional grade Nespresso machine in-room with 4 pods (2x decaf) + nice tea bags - Grounds are cute, with a resident cat, fireplace and pleasant garden-ish spaces. Cons: - Cleanliness - we discovered a swarm of ants crawling behind the curtain. We think it was some food that wasn't cleaned away from the previous guest that attracted the ants. This was gross. - Room styling may not be to everyone's tastes - suggest you ask to view a room before you move your luggage in. - Narrow stairs to rooms in main building, was abit hard to get luggage up to but they can get help if needed. - Location could be a con for some as it's a good 10-12 min walk into the main down down a high. - Parking spaces were limited. - Breakfast is pricey at 25 euro - there's a great boulangerie in town Maison Piquenot that you can get good croissants, baguettes from. - Overall abit pricey for the value you get.

SShawnWe booked this hotel because it was in a château and it looked romantic and unique .However there were many details lacking overall. Firstly avoid the restaurant at all costs even though the three course meal was only €29. The food preparation and quality was terrible. Please see attached photos. The salmon I had was overcooked from frozen salmon and the greens were likely frozen greens that were boiled to mush and no longer green. The risotto was just rice coated in some weird cream and had some tasteless pieces of chicken slapped on top. We did not finish the food. They clearly also need more staff as our receptionist was doubling up as a waitress, and we noticed that there were some waits and gaps in service. The room was compact and clean, but the details were lacking. For example, the fixtures and appliances were the cheapest variety possible and didn’t match the Luxe feel that the hotel is going for. The location is slightly out of town and a 20 minute walk to all the main sites in the old town. The grounds were tidy and very pretty in photos.

GGuest UserIf you want to experience La vraie vie de chateau (a real life a a castle owner) this is your choice. Only 5 rooms available, very private, feels like you are in your own chateau… fabulous park and setting around the main building, was told there are other separate “mini” houses in the park , and you can go watch the horses…. And admire the view on the valley. Our room: we booked the round bedroom … the center bedroom on the 1st floor…. Fabulous place, need a bit of upgrade in the bathroom… if anything… but seriously felt like a châtelain… as we reached early, we were welcomed by one of the sons of the owners who took us around the private wing, “his house”, and told us everything about the mansion history as well as hotel business. A great interaction with a friendly castle owner and businessman. They also have a snooker, a gym and sauna…. I mean… what else do you want!!! We had to go out for dinner (at L’Hermitage) which the owner booked for us. Breakfastwas served in the salons…. Stylish French dépit déjeuner, served by a dynamic, friendly and frank lady. Just go. Dont hesitate.

GGuest UserThis was our first stay with B&B Hotels, and the first of 5 bidet hotel stays during a two week road trip around France. The B&B hotel in Alençon stood out for several reasons. The availability of EV charging stations was a real bonus and made our journey much easier. The staff on site were exceptionally helpful and welcoming, quite a contrast to our experience of many of the other budget hotels. Staff suggested we ate in neighbouring restaurant where we got a 20% discount. Even though it had gone 9pm. Restaurant were happy to accept us and our discount was applied. Breakfast was another highlight: hot, well-prepared, and consistently replenished, which made for a great start to each day. Our room was also noticeably more spacious than the one we had in Toulouse, and the shower was excellent, with plenty of space, strong water pressure, and reliably hot water. What really made this stay memorable, however, was the staff. Across all five B&B Hotels we stayed in the week, the team here in Alençon were by far the most engaged, attentive, and customer-focused.

MmarcryuThe location is the best. It's the first hotel before the bridge to Mont Saint-Michel and the shuttle bus service that takes you there is just outside the hotel. This room on the first floor had a view of barrage, it's clean and functional, but looks really tired and dated. The room is really warm with the flat roof structure outside the windows trapping all the heat. We had 2 furbabies and it was great the hotel is pet friendly. Dinner with the halfboard option was pretty good but our preferred choice was not available due to a large tour group having dined before us. Breakfast had a good spread, with a splendid view of Mont Saint-Michel. It's really pricey for what it is.

GGuest UserNot much to say … only good stuff! Nice welcome at reception when we checked in earlier than planned. We got touristic advice to go around and they kept our big suitcases. We unfortunately didn’t get parking as they were full.. all reserved (NB: trip.com never discussed that we had to book the parking, this is something Accor and Trip.com should discuss about as this is now our 2nd encounter of this problem…. Coming from Malaysia and renting a car, this is not helping… we had no idea we had to reserve parking) The bedroom was very nice, pretty balcony but small bathroom… especially given the placement of the toilet…. lol. But never mind. Nice deck of the bedroom and the hotel too… themed on Christian Dior and fashion, we liked that ☺️ Last the breakfast and its location: beautiful. The view of the sea is really good, the furniture is nicely chosen, and the food is good. First time I see a « make your sunny side up eggs yourself » set in a hotel, which was cool.

UUNCLE yechunThe hotel's location is excellent, making it very convenient to take the free bus to Mont Saint-Michel. Facilities: Quite new, seems recently renovated. Environment: Very good, you can get great photos right outside. Just a heads-up, none of the hotels on Mont Saint-Michel have elevators.

GGuest UserMy friend and I are traveling around France for a couple of weeks. We picked this hotel based on reviews and price. It was a good location to drive to Omaha Beach and the surrounding area. We each had a room with a king size bed, a very large bathroom with a wonderful shower and separate large tub. Free Coffee, tea and water provided in the room and a small refrigerator with snacks and drinks available at a modest price. Beds were very comfortable and room temp was great. Very quiet location and free parking. The best thing was Julia, the front desk staff person. Extraordinary service and assistance with everything we needed including ordering Thai food from a local restaurant because the restaurant was closed on Sunday night and Monday night, the two nights we were there. She deserves a GIANT Thank You and a Gold Star! I would definitely stay there again if I ever return to France.
