I recently stayed at a transit hotel in Chengdu and had a very pleasant experience overall. The location is extremely convenient, especially for travelers, as it’s very close to the airport—perfect for short layovers or early flights. One of the highlights of my stay was the food. The meals were surprisingly good for a transit hotel, with a nice variety and satisfying quality. The room itself was very clean and well-maintained, which made it easy to relax after a long journey. I also appreciated the facilities and amenities. The hotel offers a comfortable environment with thoughtful touches, and the bathtub was a great bonus—perfect for unwinding and refreshing before the next leg of travel. Despite being so close to the airport, the hotel was not noisy at all. I was able to rest comfortably without any disturbance, which is something I really value. There is also a VIP check-in service available at the airport, which sounds like a great perk, although I wasn’t entirely sure how to use it. It would be helpful if the hotel could provide clearer instructions for guests on how to take advantage of this feature. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone transiting through Chengdu. It offers convenience, comfort, and quality, making travel much more enjoyable.

The hotel is located deep inside Changping Valley, quite a drive up from Siguniangshan Town. If you don't have your own car, the hotel offers 24-hour shuttle service to and from the visitor center. The biggest advantage is that you can enjoy views of Siguniang Mountain from the hotel that are very similar to those from Cat's Nose Ridge. If the weather is good, you can wait for the 'Golden Mountain at Sunset' phenomenon in the evening. The hotel's design is Wabi-sabi style, and the furniture, appliances, and bedding are all quite good. However, as an old hand in architectural design, I felt that the layout and public areas weren't very well-designed. There's an astronomical telescope in the courtyard, which is great for stargazing.

The hotel is very luxurious and has good attention to detail. Although the room we were in had an amazing view and luxurious feel, some dirt and stains and a few cracks in the furniture takes away the full 5 star wow factor, although it is a great room. Also the hairdryer is very very old and overheats within minutes, you need to pull it out, wait, then try again. Also the AC is not stable, at times we needed to turn it down as low as 10 to actually feel cool as the room is very hot and humid. The staff in general were very warm and accommodating and provided extra water for the room when we called them. However as we wanted to have a little rest in the morning we called to ask if the cleaner could come asap to only change trash and stock up the toilet roll etc, we were informed that there was only one cleaning lady and would need to wait. I find this quite questionable for a hotel that big. The breakfast buffet is good with lots of choice. Pastries, cakes, local specialties, western dishes a plenty. However the coffee machine is weak and only provides espresso and americano, the hotel should upgrade the machine to accommodate those with tastes like lattes and cappuccinos as this is the norm in even 4 star hotels. The robot butler is a great touch.The location is actually very very good. Shopping malls and restaurants are very very close. Overall I would stay here again but the price needs to match the interior.

The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic! It's just a short walk to Taikoo Li and Chunxi Road Pedestrian Street, and it’s super convenient for taxis and the subway. The area downstairs is very lively, and there are even street food stalls at night. The room was clean and had no strange odors, which I really appreciated. I honestly can't stand rooms where the bedding, pillows, and curtains reek of smoke, but this hotel was perfect – not a hint of any smell! When I arrived, the staff in the lobby helped me with my luggage and offered me water. Check-in was incredibly fast, and the front desk staff were all so good-looking and had excellent service attitudes! I started feeling unwell with a cold and sore throat after arriving, so I casually asked if they had a humidifier. Within a minute, a staff member brought one to my room! It was so touching; many hotels don't even have humidifiers. This is the only hotel I've stayed in recently that did, and it honestly saved my life, haha. The biggest surprise, though, was the laundry service. Staff came to collect my clothes for washing, and after they were washed, dried, ironed, and neatly folded in a bag, they were delivered back to me. The clothes were soft, fragrant, and still warm – simply amazing! 👍🏻 Breakfast is on the 30th floor with a great variety of options, and the restaurant environment is lovely. I particularly enjoyed the noodles! They also have freshly squeezed juice, like that sweet and tangy orange juice that isn't watered down or thickened. Every single staff member I encountered, from the front desk to the restaurant, room service, and even the laundry lady, always had a smile on their face and was incredibly friendly. You could tell that even though their work might be busy and trivial, every single person radiated a positive, lively energy! They truly seemed to genuinely enjoy serving guests from the heart; you could feel their sincere work ethic, not just a perfunctory attitude. This was a stark contrast to a hotel I stayed at in Guanghan, so I absolutely have to praise this hotel and share some real photos. My fellow travelers, you can book with confidence! The location is superb, with distant views of Mount Emei's Golden Summit. The rooms are large with great views. The indoor and outdoor kids' playgrounds and swimming pools are fantastic, and there are plenty of family-friendly activities. The service is attentive, and the breakfast is unique. It's a perfect holiday spot for families with children!

The hotel is very good. It is close to Wanda Plaza. It is very convenient for eating and shopping. The lobby is very beautifully decorated. James, the front desk clerk, is enthusiastic and friendly. I give it ten thumbs up. It is very safe. The room is close to the river and has a good view. I was satisfied with my stay and praised it! The only drawback is that the breakfast is a bit weak and the fried things are cold and hard. I hope it can be improved.

The Dujiangyan Center International Hotel is incredibly convenient. It's just a few dozen meters from the train station, and you can enjoy free hot spring access and complimentary tea on the 19th floor, which offers stunning views. However, the rooms are a bit small and not very quiet. There's singing in the plaza downstairs late at night, making it hard to get a good rest. On the positive side, the rooms are clean, and it's very easy to get to tourist attractions as the bus stop is just a short walk away.

This is the best hotel in Songpan, perfectly situated right next to the city walls. It boasts an excellent location while also being incredibly quiet. The hotel's interior environment is superb, and the room furnishings are fantastic. The toilet even thoughtfully includes a disposable seat cover, and the complimentary bottled water is the premium Nongfu Spring brand. Breakfast is also very good, especially the beef noodles, which are delicious. It's truly the most worthwhile hotel to stay at in Songpan. Plus, the hotel offers a thoughtful shuttle service, and the lovely concierge upgraded my room!

On the first day in Chengdu, I, who came from Indonesia, stayed at this hotel, the hotel staff really helped us communicate by using google translate, and she also helped us check in early. The room is spacious and clean, complete facilities, soft and comfortable mattresses make us sleep very well. The Sungold Designer Hotel boasts an absolutely unbeatable location for exploring Chengdu. We were staying for multiple days, the thoughtful staff upgraded our room, which was a wonderful surprise. It is placing you right in the heart of the city's most trendy area. You are just a short walk away from Taikoo Li high-end shopping, cafes, and unique architecture. Getting around the city is incredibly easy from here. The hotel is very close to the Metro Station, making it simple to hop on the subway and explore further-flung attractions. There is also a Lawson mini-mart conveniently located right downstairs for any snacks or essentials you might need during your stay.
