Beijing was too hot, so the kids kicked us out to do their homework over the weekend. We came to Chongli for a hike, and it's so cool here. I picked this hotel, which is relatively new in Chongli, having opened in 2020. I hadn't been to Cuiyun Mountain before, and it's quite nice. The breakfast is great, packed with Chongli elements – savory and fragrant enough to instantly take me back to my childhood. I was given a lake view room, which offers a perfect view of the entire area in front of the hotel. In the morning, I went for a roughly 3km run. There's a boardwalk behind the hotel that you can hike up directly to the Xingmang Library. It has four pavilions and shaded paths, so it's not sunny. It's about 1.5km with an elevation gain of 264 meters. Service-wise, it was pretty good, but the hotel staff were *too* diligent. They called to rush us even before check-in, and then kept calling relentlessly before 12 PM for check-out. That part was really annoying.

This hotel is conveniently located very close to the Summer Resort, making it a great base for visiting various attractions, which are all roughly equidistant. The facilities are comprehensive and very convenient to use. The cleanliness is also top-notch, which gives you peace of mind. The front desk staff are incredibly helpful and answered all our questions, even offering useful suggestions for our travel itinerary and sightseeing. We received complimentary snacks and drinks upon arrival, making us feel right at home.

This time I came during the start of the seafood season, but it wasn't peak season yet, so there were far fewer people. The lower floors were cheaper, while the higher-floor sea view rooms were more expensive. Standard rooms were affordable, but those with family-friendly tents or designs cost more. Currently, the first and second canteens are not open, but they will be during peak season. It's less than a ten-minute walk to the beach. Inside the resort, there are individually-owned electric vehicles available for one, two, three, or four people, with different models. The price is a bit high at 69 yuan per hour. However, these are not affiliated with the hotel, so if there are any issues or disputes, the hotel will not intervene. The hotel's front desk and housekeeping staff were very professional; they immediately provided room service even when called late at night. Many thanks!

This is my second time visiting Wulingshan, and I chose Lanye Hotel again~ I've been eating breakfast at Shangu (Valley) restaurant, and I'm very satisfied, having eaten there for two consecutive days. I especially love the wild vegetable buns. The hotel was also incredibly thoughtful; knowing I was pregnant, they prepared an air purifier and a pregnancy pillow for me~ They also arranged for a high-floor room, so it wasn't noisy at all. They really put their heart into it!

Staying at the Ximei Wuzhou Hotel in Shijiazhuang was an absolutely fantastic experience. The lobby is grand and stylish, and the room has excellent natural light with expansive views from the floor-to-ceiling windows. The bathroom has a separate wet and dry area, and the toiletries are of good quality. We even received complimentary welcome fruit and yogurt upon check-in. A major highlight is the 27th-floor infinity-edge constant temperature pool; the water is crystal clear, and the ambiance is incredible. The gym is well-equipped. The breakfast offers a wide selection of both Chinese and Western dishes, including local specialties. The service is thoughtful and meticulous, with turn-down service offered in the evenings. The surrounding area has plenty of dining, entertainment, and shopping options. Plus, there's free indoor parking. It's perfectly suited whether you're traveling or just need a temporary stay. Highly recommended!

An older hotel, but the facilities are still complete and the room was pretty clean. You can't expect too much from an old hotel. It's best to take a Didi (ride-hailing service) from the station; don't just jump into a shared ride, you might get ripped off. It's just outside the city wall, and I personally think staying here is more comfortable than inside the wall. Among the performances, only the iron flower show is worth seeing, but you absolutely need to get there early to secure a good spot, otherwise, you won't be able to watch. The commercial streets are all pretty much the same!

Before we even left, I was constantly asking questions about the various attractions in the Anaya resort. Wendy always responded patiently, clearly explaining the entry procedures for the park, how to use the shuttle bus, and other important information. She even helped us plan our itinerary based on our travel times and thoughtfully reminded us about the significant temperature difference between day and night by the sea, suggesting we bring light jackets. This saved us a lot of hassle in planning. On the day of check-in, the process was efficient and smooth. Wendy meticulously introduced the hotel room facilities and detailed the hotel's amenities. We had pre-booked the much-anticipated 'Deck Time,' and were really looking forward to it. However, we got delayed en route and realized we wouldn't make our original session. We thought our reservation would be void, and we were quite disappointed. On a whim, I contacted Wendy. She was incredibly understanding of our long-distance travel and the potential disappointment. Instead of just saying it couldn't be changed, she proactively and repeatedly contacted the 'Deck Time' staff, coordinating and communicating with various parties to help us adjust our experience slot. Finally, we successfully made it to 'Deck Time'! The view from the deck was fantastic, and the accompanying drinks and exquisite snacks were delicious. The ambiance was perfect, and the breeze was incredibly soothing. Throughout our stay, no matter how big or small our request, a quick message to Wendy on WeChat usually got a fast response, and everything was taken care of. Her service was attentive and thorough throughout, with a great sense of discretion – never intrusive, but always there when needed. The hardware of the NOAH ANNAYA HOTEL is excellent, but Wendy's thoughtful and professional butler service was truly the biggest highlight of this trip. The next time we come to Anaya, we'll choose this hotel again, and we'll definitely ask for Wendy!

During the past few days in Zhangjiakou, the most unforgettable thing is not the passion of the track, but the emotion brought by the front desk. My family sent a box of sports drinks before I left. I made sure to make sure it was delivered on the day of the game. The result was that I, a road ******, filled in the wrong district address. The courier was sorting from the south of the city to a novice post office in the north of the city. Just after the race ended at 4 p.m., the logistics information showed that ”the post office is already at the post office,” but we had to leave for the next city at 5 p.m, and looked at the postoffice address 10 kilometers away on the map, stamping our feet in a hurry. When she heard this, Ms. Park comforted me by saying, ”Don't worry, I'll find a way,” grabbing the keys to her electric car and running out. She returned 20 minutes later, sweating and panting, saying, ”The sorting officers had the wrong zoning area. I went halfway through the warehouse with them to find it!” She thought she could get it now, but she frowned again and said, ”The box is too big to fit in the electric car basket. I'm afraid it will be broken on the road. I'll run around and pack it in the trunk again!” Before I could react, she turned and rushed down the stairs again - the second time she saw her, she had a sweat scarf on her arm, With her hands tightly wrapped around the trunk, even her work shirt was soaked with sweat, but she smiled and said, ”I just borrowed a shock absorber from the post office, and none of the drinks damaged.” When she tore open the packaging, she also purposely put a note on the trunk: ”Remember to replenish electrolytes after the game!” At that moment, I suddenly felt that although the wind of Zhangjiakou was cool with the grassland, but the box of drinks and the smile of my little sister, the trophy of the race course was more heart-warming. When I met such a service in a strange city, I really wanted to share the warmth with everyone! It really pays to book newer hotels; the facilities are always complete and super clean. The front desk staff were all incredibly warm and attentive. The laundry room is on the first floor, and they even help wash, dry, and fold your clothes – so thoughtful! The only downside is that the air conditioning in the king room blows directly onto the head of the bed. You have to set it to a very low fan speed to make it bearable. I'd suggest adding a deflector or something similar.
