"Atlantis is definitely one of the must-visit hotels when traveling with kids 🧒! 👀 After watching quite a few hotel review videos, I am so glad I insisted on booking a one-night stay at Atlantis a day in advance, even though it was a bit late. It truly lives up to its reputation as a children's paradise 🎠! The Aquaventure Waterpark is a blast and a must-visit, but towels aren't as readily available as they are in the hotel, so make sure to bring your own in advance. The resort is a mini-complex combining accommodation, dining, and shopping all in one, and surprisingly, the items sold here are actually quite nice! ⛲️ The small kids' club is very new and gives off a bit of a 'Meland' vibe. It's free for hotel guests 🆓, but the grip socks are super expensive! Be sure to bring your own in advance ❗️ 🏠 Room Type: Since we were only staying for one night, we chose the Octonauts-themed room. The room size is average, but it's well-equipped with amenities—a small tent, kids' toys, bunk beds, and even a step stool for little ones in the room. It also comes with an ocean-view balcony. Since we were on a higher floor, the ocean view was just okay. 🥣 Breakfast: Absolutely lavish! It feels like all the hotels in Haitang Bay have been taking notes from each other—they even had specialty coffee stations. Atlantis also offers plenty of items that other hotels don't, and the food tasted great. However, the buffet restaurant can be a bit chilly, so parents should bring extra layers for the kids and elderly family members. Hotel Service 💁‍♀️: Our stay was quite short, and we only interacted with our butler, SpongeBob 🧽, who was very enthusiastic. They also helped us extend our check-out time to 2:00 PM the next day, which really saved us from the awkwardness of our rushed arrival ❤️. 🛝 Activities & Amenities: Getting food delivery is quite a trek, as it's way over by The Lost Chambers Aquarium 🥹; Prices for ancillary items are very high—kids' grip socks cost 26 RMB a pair. Hotel guests get free admission to The Lost Chambers Aquarium and the Aquaventure Waterpark. The aquarium is relatively small, but the spatial design is quite stunning. With its rich variety of marine life and architectural style, it feels like exploring a mysterious cave. For the first entry, hotel guests need to present their ID cards and have the kids' faces scanned at the front desk; after that, you can just use facial recognition for entry. The kids' zone in the aquarium opens at 11:00 AM, and the small slides are perfect for little ones. The lazy river is also a lot of fun. Due to limited time, we only got to ride it once, but Baozi (my child) hasn't stopped talking about it since! For elderly guests, the rooms at Atlantis might feel a bit cramped. We voted that next time we'll just come here for the waterpark and stay at the nearby Renhe Hotel. Mainly because the waterpark isn't super convenient for hotel guests—it's quite a walk from the rooms, and fetching things back and forth is a hassle. Be sure to buy water shoes!"

"My partner and I came to Sanya for a short romantic getaway and stayed at the Tiancheng Belmont Sea View Suite Hotel. The overall experience was very comfortable. The hotel's location is truly practical—situated right in the urban area of Sanya Bay rather than some remote resort area. Getting to shopping districts and local food spots is super convenient, which saved us from the fatigue of long commutes. The suite is spacious with a well-thought-out layout and great privacy. We spent our days lounging by the pool and our evenings having a few drinks on the rooftop of Building B. Even when we didn't feel like going out, we could just stay quietly in the suite, chatting and unwinding. It perfectly combines city convenience with seaside romance. Without a packed itinerary, it was just a simple, deeply relaxing couples' getaway. Amy provided attentive and thoughtful service."

"This hotel is perfect for those catching early morning flights the next day. They offer a baggage check-in service: just pack your bags and leave them with your ID at the front desk before bed, and pick up your boarding pass downstairs the next morning. Then, with your little one, you can take the second-floor walkway (there's a quick check-out box for room cards at the entrance) directly to Terminal 1 in just three to five minutes, thanks to clear signage. They even provided fast-track security, so we were through the VIP lane in no time. The facilities are quite new, and the linens are very comfortable. The service was excellent: they accommodated my request for a room near the elevator and a baby potty, all arranged before my arrival. Food and drinks are convenient: you can take the second-floor skywalk to the adjacent commercial area with various snacks on the fifth floor, or explore the shops downstairs. Meiyijia and Luckin Coffee are also available."

"We had a truly wonderful stay! The hotel is very easy to locate, directly accessible by taxi from a short distance away, and surrounded by great dining options. Dadonghai is packed with eateries and a lively night market. The receptionist was exceptionally warm and welcoming, thoughtfully offering us complimentary bottled water. The room was spotlessly clean, and the mattress offered just the right balance of support and softness, ensuring a sound and peaceful sleep through the night with great soundproofing—we weren't disturbed at all. Overall, it offers fantastic value for money and is perfect for both family trips and getaways with friends. Ordering food delivery is very convenient, as items are brought up by delivery robots. The hotel also features clean amenities including a laundry room, gym, and swimming pool. The fish spa was super relaxing for the feet! There is a complimentary shuttle service to the Dadonghai beach, taking just a few minutes to get there, which is extremely convenient. The hotel also serves a dinner buffet; if you don't feel like ordering delivery, you can dine right at the hotel—it's delicious, reasonably priced, and offers great value. Highly recommended to everyone!"

"We had a truly wonderful stay at this hotel. Everything was spotless, the rooms were cleaned regularly, and supplies were replenished promptly. The food was delicious with a great variety of options, and the location is very close to Yalong Bay Central Square (Baihuagu). The staff were warm, friendly, and always smiling, and they even kindly accommodated our request for a late check-out. It’s only a 5-6 minute walk to the beach, the room amenities were comfortable and soft, and we slept very well. Free beach and pool towels are provided. Overall, we were extremely satisfied with our stay."

"Out of 10, the hotel's hardware facilities are 8 points. They are a bit old, but the sheets are clean and tidy, and the towels are beautifully folded. Paid parking is eight points convenient. The geographical location is very good. Walk to the beach for swimming within 10 minutes. There are many restaurants in the surrounding area, and it is very convenient to eat in the surrounding streets. Hotel service 20 points. The boss and his wife are very nice people. They help to hang out clothes and look after the dog. I will stay here again next time I come back to Sanya."

"This hotel was originally just a one-night stopover, but the overall facilities, lounge, and room type turned out to be a pleasant surprise. In China, you probably won't find a JW Marriott at this price again. The hotel is located on a rocky beach in Dadonghai, without sand, but offering a different experience: mudflats foraging and swimming in the sea (there's a recessed, shallow area on the rocky beach in front of the hotel that's safer at low tide). The overall sea view isn't bad at all; one side offers a view of the curved Dadonghai beach, while the other faces the lighthouse. The hotel facilities are quite comprehensive, with a long family pool and a shallow children's pool. Armbands and full-body swimming life jackets are provided free of charge, and there are even cylindrical holders for shoes. There are numerous lifeguards, strategically placed so that every blind spot of one lifeguard is covered by another. This is completely different from the setup at other five-star hotels in Sanya, and the pool closes at 10 PM, which received unanimous praise from my family. The outdoor open-air children's playground is similar; for younger children, the playground staff will even follow behind to supervise, truly demonstrating JW's high standards. We booked an executive sea-view room in the East Wing, a room type that directly faces the sunrise over Rabbit Tail Ridge. Plus, it has a huge balcony, instantly eliminating any feeling of a small room. Since we only stayed for one day, we couldn't experience many of the dining options. However, seeing the hotel selling egg pancakes for 15 RMB and refreshing Qingshubiang for 20 RMB, I immediately felt that the prices were accessible to the general public. The executive lounge's food could only be described as average Marriott quality (I suspect this might be due to the hotel's price point), but it's one of the few resort hotels that even has an executive lounge. The breakfast experience was excellent, with stewed soups, JW noodles, numerous egg preparations, fermented grain vinegar, sour noodles, Hou'an noodles, and various fresh juices. Among the three hotels we stayed at in Sanya, this was the lowest-priced hotel, yet it had the highest breakfast standards. The service was excellent overall. Whether it was the lounge attendant helping us with a last-minute room change (and getting us a room with a large balcony), or the front desk staff running out to find the mini-train because my child wanted to ride it when it was almost closing time, or the proactive luggage service and reminders from our butler Una, it all truly met the high standards of a luxury five-star hotel! Some suggestions: 1. The open space on the large balcony could really benefit from some decorations and lounge chairs; I think it would enhance the resort feel. 2. Stronger signage is needed from the East Wing to the West Wing breakfast area. It's quite hard to find since you have to take an elevator. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay. Aside from the lack of a sandy beach, this is a high-standard, high-value-for-money resort hotel!"

"🌴 Brought my family to Sanya, Hainan for a vacation and stayed in a suite at the Yalong Bay Xinguang Pullman Resort (or Yalong Bay Welcome Hotel) for 4 days and 3 nights. The experience far exceeded our expectations! ⛱️ Attentive service. Everyone from the front desk to the housekeeping staff was warm and thoughtful. All our requests were remembered, giving us a wonderful sense of being truly well-cared for. 💐 Beautiful scenery. Looking out from the balcony, you get a view of the island-style swimming pool surrounded by lush, blooming flowers. 🥳 Spacious and comfortable suite. As a family of three, having two bedrooms gave us plenty of space to relax and feel at home. 🏖️ Convenient location. The Yalong Bay public beach, night market, and shopping center are just across the street, yet it remains very quiet at night. All in all, great service, gorgeous views—choosing this place for a family getaway is a safe bet!"
