The hotel is located in the heart of the old town, very clean and tidy. The front desk service was excellent, always ready to assist. The rooms are spacious and bright, with an elegant environment, offering a garden-style accommodation experience. Highly recommended.

This hotel is perfectly situated on a hillside in the heart of the village, offering convenient access and excellent views. The service is incredibly attentive, with seamless arrangements for transfers to and from the scenic area entrance. Every staff member is genuinely warm and welcoming, making you feel right at home. Breakfast is prepared with great care, and they even sent us off with a small gift and drinks for our journey. What truly stands out is that every evening, the guesthouse hosts 4-5 incredibly talented artists performing Dong Grand Songs. Listening to them up close is a truly enchanting experience, like celestial music, and a wonderful artistic treat. This performance significantly enhanced our stay.

The staff at this hotel truly made my stay outstanding. Everyone I met was warm, attentive, and genuinely eager to help. The front desk team was especially impressive — professional, patient, and always ready with thoughtful suggestions seeing that I’m a first time traveller to China. Their proactive service, friendly smiles, and willingness to go the extra mile created a welcoming atmosphere from the moment I arrived. Never had I been offered to be allowed to view each room and its view from the 31st floor overlooking central before. It’s rare to find a team this dedicated. Highly recommended.

Facilities: The facilities are pretty good, but some things aren't very practical, like the lighting being too dim and the light switches not being well-placed. Environment: The design is beautiful; the old house renovation is very tastefully done. The room style is minimalist yet well-designed. Cleanliness: There were some cleanliness issues; the blanket had some stains. Service: The housekeeper contacted us in advance and recommended some good local restaurants. However, they might be short-staffed as the front desk was often unattended. One issue was that the room was very large, but there was heavy rain that night, and the toilet leaked. It's an old house, so it's understandable, but it still needs to be repaired promptly.

The hotel is a standard five-star hotel. The service attitude of the girl at the front desk was good and the check-in experience was very good. The hotel is very convenient to the city's attractions, including the ancient city, Fengchi Garden, and Foding Temple, which are only a few minutes' walk away. The wetland park can be reached by bus. The air is very comfortable when strolling by the river in the morning. There are also many restaurants around, especially the Liupanshui specialty food Laoguo Street, which is only a few minutes away. Hygiene: Very clean. This hotel boasts an excellent location, just a 10-minute walk to the old town, the Confucius Temple, the Martial Temple, and the snack street, making it super convenient for sightseeing. The room was clean and tidy, and the mattress was soft and comfortable. The only minor drawback was that it could get a bit stuffy at night. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and helpful; they not only helped us plan our routes to Jiuzhou Ancient Town and Baojiatun but also thoughtfully recommended an amazing bean and rice hotpot place.

Food lovers will be in paradise at this hotel! The Yun Shang Buffet on the 57th floor is the highest panoramic restaurant in the city, offering unlimited seafood, freshly carved Tomahawk steak, and Haagen-Dazs desserts. Breakfast features both French croissants and local Guiyang wontons and sticky rice. The Le Xuan Hua Chinese restaurant on the 4th floor serves authentic Qian cuisine, with sour soup and stir-fried pork that capture the local flavors. The special Cili (Rosa Roxburghii) cocktail at the Le Bar on the 55th floor is incredibly creative, and the Executive Lounge provides all-day afternoon tea and evening hot food. You can enjoy a grand meal while watching the sunset and savor all of Guiyang's specialties without even leaving the hotel. The dining quality truly lives up to five-star standards. A special thanks to Cat Han at the front desk for her excellent service.

The hotel's location is excellent, and our room with a balcony offered a wonderful view of the bridge and gorge, which was very pleasant. The service and breakfast were also impeccable. A couple of complaints: The hotel opened in April, and the装修 smell hadn't fully dissipated. If you're sensitive to this, you might want to reconsider. We ended up sleeping with the balcony sliding door open all night, thankfully the weather was cool and there were no mosquitoes. Also, the shower lacked a shelf, so we had to put our shampoo and shower gel on the floor, which is unacceptable for a high-end hotel. Furthermore, for those driving, I recommend navigating directly to the hotel first. Park your car there and then walk 5 minutes to the scenic area. Otherwise, if you go to the scenic area first, you might be directed to Parking Lot 1 due to limited parking, paying 20 RMB for a shuttle bus to get to the attractions. Then, when trying to reach the hotel, Gaode (a navigation app) led us astray, costing an additional 3.60 RMB in highway tolls. A painful lesson, hoping this helps future guests. I estimate the renovation smell will take a few more months to completely clear, so it would be perfect to visit then. However, if you're not sensitive to such smells, you can disregard this.

As someone who's a bit of a clean freak, I was extremely impressed with the cleanliness of this hotel. There were no strange odors in the room, the carpet was dry, and the sheets were pristine white and wrinkle-free. The bathroom had excellent separation of wet and dry areas, and water stains were promptly cleaned. You can really tell the hotel puts a lot of effort into its cleaning and disinfection, which made for a very reassuring stay.

Our room experience was absolutely fantastic! The mattress was just right, not too soft and not too firm, letting me completely relax and sleep soundly until morning. The hairdryer was powerful, drying my long hair super fast without damaging it. The entire place was spotless, the amenities were high-quality, and the service was attentive. Plus, the location was super convenient for getting around. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in town, and I highly recommend it to fellow travelers!

JJohn Charles ChasteenThe Creekside Inn has modern, elegantly designed rooms (I can’t emphasize that enough), a very good location with beautiful views, and a friendly, capable staff, that truly goes out of its way to be helpful— all of this at quite favorable prices. The water is hot and the bed is heated for winter in the mountains. I stayed four days, and would’ve stayed longer had I had time, just because I felt so wonderfully at home there. I left with plans to return with my wife next year. English spoken. Oh,and I got a splendid breakfast tailored to my individual dietary requirements! I have visited 35 countries and traveled all over China, and I have never been happier with my accommodations anywhere!

GGuest UserThe butler contacted me a day in advance. We agreed to meet at the west gate, and as soon as he saw us, he helped with our luggage and accompanied us all the way to the hotel. He even prepared afternoon tea for us beforehand. The hotel's location isn't far from the observation deck, which is very convenient! The service was excellent. Since there weren't many people, they even helped us upgrade our room. The room's view was absolutely stunning. I didn't want to leave the room; I could lie down and see the entire Miao village, with its water, bridges, and tiled houses, all from a prime spot. There's also an observation deck upstairs, which is definitely on par with any other popular photo spot in the village. After visiting all the popular spots in the Miao village, I still felt that the view from the room was the best. Next time I visit, I'll definitely stay here again!

GGuest UserThe hotel's location is great; it's within walking distance of MixC World, and about 1.5 km from Yitian City and Jiaxiu Tower, making it a very convenient spot in the old city. If you're driving, you can park in the Hongtong City parking lot next door and take the connecting walkway to the hotel. Next to Hongtong City is the Erqi Snack City, where I finally got to try the highly anticipated Gaoba Xifan (sticky rice porridge), which was very authentic and not too crowded. I highly recommend the hotel's 'Pet Paradise' for families with young children. The animals are very clean, unlike some external animal feeding places, and it's not crowded. The staff are enthusiastic and helpful, assisting with animal feed (which is free) and ensuring guest safety. It was a perfect way to avoid the crowds during the Dragon Boat Festival and enjoy a leisurely tour of Guiyang. Since there are many out-of-town visitors, I suggest the rice noodles and Changwang noodles at breakfast could be pre-seasoned with local condiments. Also, since there's congee, it would be great to have more variety, like salted eggs. Otherwise, everything else was good.

GGuest UserWe arrived in Xijiang and were immediately met with such a kind surprise—they upgraded our room for my birthday, which truly set the tone for our entire stay. We were on the third floor with the most wonderful view, looking out over their little water feature and the village beyond. Our balcony, complete with a tea set and two chairs, quickly became one of our favorite spots. Sitting there, especially in the evening, felt magical—like we were nestled among the stars overlooking the town. The location is fantastic—just a short walk from the viewing platform and easily accessible down into the main village. Arriving was also incredibly smooth. As first-time visitors to China, we were quite nervous navigating trains and logistics as English speakers, but the hotel staff stepped in early with clear, thoughtful guidance. From the very beginning, they were attentive, responsive, and genuinely kind. When we arrived at the North Gate after taking the shuttle into the scenic area, a staff member met us and carried both of our bags up the hill and stairs to the accommodation. This was such a thoughtful gesture—especially because the terrain can be challenging. (For future travelers: if possible, avoid bringing heavy suitcases—but if you do, you’ll be very well taken care of here.) Check-in was seamless, and our room was extremely comfortable with all the amenities we needed. They provided water, soft robes, and made communication very easy via WeChat. Breakfast was also a highlight—we opted for the Chinese breakfast, which was light, healthy, and a perfect way to start the day before exploring all the incredible street food in town. We especially loved the communal living space—a cozy café-style area with a balcony overlooking the village. It was such a peaceful place to sit, have tea, and take in the views both during the day and under the night sky. They also had everything you could need: a coffee maker, dishes, mugs, and even fresh spring water, which was a lovely touch. The warmth of the people here truly made the experience unforgettable. The housekeeping staff were so kind, and the younger staff members were incredibly helpful and attentive. It really felt like being welcomed into a home rather than just staying at a hotel. And the little cats around the property made it even more special. On our departure day, we were running late for the last bus, and one of the younger staff members carried my very heavy bag down the hill and practically ran with it to make sure we made it on time. He stayed with us until we were safely on board. That level of care and service is something we will never forget. We would return in a heartbeat. Thank you, thank you, thank you again to the family and the entire staff for your kindness and for taking such wonderful care of us. You made our short stay in Xijiang an absolute pleasure and a weekend we will remember forever.

GGuest UserThis is a five-diamond hotel located within the Xiaoqikong Scenic Area. It's actually a few hundred meters past the old east gate of the scenic area, right before Wangmeng Town. The location is excellent, very close to the Xiaoqikong Bridge and Laya Waterfall. Xiaoqikong has changed a lot; shuttle buses now operate within the scenic area, which is very convenient for tourists, though it has somewhat diminished the unique charm of the original forest edge landscapes. Since it wasn't peak season this time, the hotel price was quite favorable, which was nice. We had a bit of bad luck this trip; it had rained heavily in Libo a few days prior, so the water in Xiaoqikong, though clean, had a yellowish tint. It lacked the characteristic clear turquoise and deep blue hues we'd seen in different sections of the river in the past. The hotel's service was excellent. The sink in the bathroom was a bit clogged, and after one phone call, maintenance staff arrived immediately to fix it. Turns out, a previous guest had thrown a piece of clear adhesive from a band-aid into the basin, which got stuck with hair further down, blocking the drain. It's a shame that some guests have such poor etiquette; a thoughtless act like that can cause problems for others. The hotel breakfast was decent, with a good variety of local Guizhou specialties and standard breakfast options. The only downside was the bacon and Western-style sausages. Guizhou lacks companies that produce high-quality Western sausages, and those generally made in China are often just mediocre. I'd suggest Guizhou consider introducing enterprises like Germany's Schindele to produce high-quality Western sausages, bacon, and other products using Guizhou's excellent pork, beef, and lamb as raw materials. Supplying these to major hotels would elevate the dining experience in Guizhou and even the entire Southwest region. Furthermore, Guizhou Dragon's cured and smoked products are excellent. Perhaps they could offer spicy sausages, cured pork, and braised pork made from Congjiang fragrant pigs to consumers, which might better showcase the unique flavors of Guizhou cuisine than some of the bland, uninspired products currently available.

GGuest UserFive-star review! The location is quite close to the Malinghe Canyon, just a 5 yuan taxi ride away. The whole room is equipped with smart home technology, the facilities are relatively new and complete, and the rooms are quite spacious. It's comparable to guesthouses and hotels in Guiyang that cost three times more, offering excellent value for money… There are also convenient places to eat breakfast nearby… The owner is very welcoming, thumbs up!

GGuest UserWe arrived in the afternoon from the city center, and couldn't figure out how to exit the subway station. After calling the front desk, they advised us that exit A2 was the easiest way. It only took a few minutes to walk to the hotel, which was more convenient than I expected. When we got there, it wasn't too busy, and the staff were friendlier than I anticipated. During check-in, they kindly told us about the hotel's breakfast times. I hadn't considered breakfast when booking, but the front desk staff, Xiao Wang, offered a member-rate breakfast which was quite a good deal, much cheaper than buying it outright – big thumbs up for that! Haha. Plus, there's Guichu Sour Soup Beef right next to the hotel, so we just went there for dinner. The hotel room card gets you a 10% discount, though I felt a group purchase online was still a bit more cost-effective. Oh, and the hotel's airport shuttle needs to be booked in advance; it's not available 24/7. We booked our shuttle for the next day at the front desk when we checked in. It only took a few minutes to get to the airport, which was very convenient. This trip to Guizhou was a great experience; everyone here seems so warm and hospitable. I'd love to visit this city again if I get the chance!

GGuest UserSister Yingzi is very hospitable, sincere and comfortable with others. This time I was traveling with my parents and brother during the National Day. The room I booked was spacious enough to live in, and the facilities were new and clean. The pictures and texts of many B&Bs I have stayed in before are very inconsistent. Sister Yingzi's place is better than the pictures and expectations. Every corner is cleaned well and considered very thoughtfully. The location of the small courtyard is very good. It is right on the road, which is also suitable for friends who drive by themselves. The local driver recommended by Sister Yingzi was also very helpful. Due to a time arrangement error that day, we almost missed the high-speed train. Sister Yingzi helped us deal with it in a timely manner. The decoration of the villa is also very tasteful. The courtyard is also very clean and comfortable. I stayed with my mother for a while in the evening and it was very pleasant. I just forgot to take pictures. My mother said she liked it very much. Unfortunately, the schedule was tight and I couldn't stay a few more days. Next time I will stay here again when I come to Anshun. The bean and rice hotpot and breakfast shop recommended by Sister Yingzi are both delicious, and I particularly like the taste. This is the first time I write such a long review, because it is worth it. I wish Sister Yingzi’s B&B will get better and better 👍 I recommend everyone to stay here! !

SStanley The Travel ManWhat I like most is : The room is on the fourth floor. I didn’t pay for an expensive room so the room looks out to the backyard which is disorganized. If I pay more I would’ve gotten a better view. What I pay is what I get obviously. Nevertheless the room is very very nice. It has many lights and well lit and I love it. I can read without feeling that I am living inside a cave. The smart toilet is a place to for buttock massage.  The breakfast is quiet good.. It has fruit, bao zi and a freshly made bowl of rice noodles. The hotel offers fruit for free . I love to have fruit and the fact that I don’t have to buy it and carry it back to the hotel. I have daily house keeping . My garbage was emptied.  There are 2 massage chairs that are very good. The hotel decor in the lobby and the room are very pleasant. The owner has good ‘taste’. I am not a big fan of disposable towels. If there is anything I prefer, is I want to cloth bathing towels. I felt like I used a piece of enormous napkins to dry my body. This is not a deal breaker though as I only stay 2 nights. If I stay longer, there would be anything else to do because I complete the whole circuit in less than 4 hours. The next day I went to Yao Shan and there wasn’t many people . But being 65, the entrance is free but I paid 20 rmb for the short bus ride. I paid 15 rmb one way on a DiDi there and the same coming back. The location is at the extreme end of this neighborhood and would require a 10 minutes uphill to the entrance. The park is quite big. You have to walk 10 minutes to 15 minutes to the entrance, then after you buy the ticket, another 10 minutes to the bus stop so it is quite a lot of walking before you begin your journey. If I have to do it all over again, I would have spent more time at every stop. I misunderstood that route A and route B is different. Route B is exactly the same as route A in reverse. The information given by the owner should include the trail from the bus top to the bridge . There is an option to ride a boat and then walk a bit. The trail is easy to walk and well maintained and quite pleasant early in the morning and before closing as there will be fewer people . The hotel is a bit far if you have a lot of luggages.  In summary, this hotel is the only one that offers breakfast in my 5 weeks through China and it was surprising good. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
