"Spacious and clean bedroom. Bed was comfortable and linen used are of good quality.
Location is good. Near to most of the major tourist attractions with access to public transport and convenient shops within mins of walking from hotel. Breakfast spread served have good selection and the restaurant is clean and well maintained. There's a nice and cozy outdoor patio/ garden on ground floor that is designated for smokers. Liked the rooms having windows that allowed you to open up when you prefer to let fresh air for ventilation. The overall interior of the hotel looks new and pretty. Enjoyed my entire stay and would highly recommend it to others."

"It is a great hotel if you get used to do self check in. If you don’t familiar to self check in or those machines, it would take you some time.
This hotel is connected to another pier hotel, if you do need help, you need to call them and walk a long way to its peer hotel (indoor) to get help. Fortunately, staffs are helpful.
Hotel breakfast was great too an excellent location to ski area. Very closed to train station, great for family trip."

"Overall a really pleasant stay. Location was great, with a 24h mart at petrol station just beside the hotel, and 2 min walk to a row of supermarkets nearby. Bus stop just beside hotel with easy access to the Salzburg central station and to the city. Room is slightly dated, though with interesting music/mozart design carpets. Toilet looked more modern with good water pressure. Service was also good, receptionists were friendly. Will consider returning if I’m back in Salzburg."

"I booked for three nights and when I checked in, the hotel staff initially couldn't find our reservation. After some confirmation, we were able to check in smoothly.
We were given a room on the second floor, but once inside, we found the mini-fridge was broken. So, I went downstairs and asked the front desk to switch our room. The new room was further inside. The fridge worked, but the air conditioning wasn't very cold. Luckily, it wasn't too hot at night, so it was fine.
I'd read reviews mentioning some guests had items stolen, so we didn't leave any valuables in the room and kept our suitcases locked.
However, when the towels were replaced daily, I'm not sure if it's because we didn't leave the floor mats on the ground or what, but they were always taken away and not replaced (it's also possible the hotel doesn't provide them). The plastic bottles I intended to return were also taken (but that's quite normal, so it's fine).
The area around the hotel does feel a bit desolate, possibly because it's behind a department store and next to a construction site. We could hear hammering from the construction site in the mornings. It's quite close to the train station and bus stops, but for the price we paid, I think it was significantly overpriced.
The hotel staff offered us free luggage storage (they mentioned guests normally have to use lockers). In the afternoons, there's iced water and small cookies available on the first floor."

Parking is a bit limited; the underground garage is quite cramped with only one entrance/exit, so it's not recommended for new drivers or those with larger vehicles. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful; you can ask them for Salzburg transport tickets."

"The hotel is located right next to the interchange, and there's a bus stop for bus route 21 downstairs.
The hotel has a parking lot, but there's a McDonald's downstairs, and some of the parking spaces are for McDonald's customers. You need to look for spaces with 'B&B' written inside them to find the hotel's spots. Parking costs 10 Euros per day. The parking lot is accessed by driving up a ramp, and there are also outdoor spaces. The ones near McDonald's are not for the hotel. The parking lot adjacent to the hotel has both stairs and an elevator that go up to the front desk level. There's also an elevator inside the hotel to access other floors and the ground level.
The hotel has a more modern decor but lacks amenities. There's no fridge in the room, and when I asked at the front desk, they also don't have an ice machine. The room size is decent. When you check in, the front desk will ask if you need a transport card; you can get one for the duration of your stay, which allows free rides on city buses. You can reach the old town center in about half an hour, which is actually quite convenient.
There's a Lidl supermarket one bus stop away, or a 15-minute walk.
Overall, it was a pretty good experience."

"I strongly suspect this place is a scam. For 850+ a night, you get a room with a curtain missing a hook, so you have to tie it up or wedge it in the window frame to keep it from gaping open. Looking up, I saw a smoke detector instead of a light fixture, which was dramatic enough. Even worse, the only actual light in the room was in the bathroom, so I had to leave the bathroom door open all the time just to get some light. Other than that, there was only a dim night light by the bed. And the story doesn't end there: the tissue box was empty after only 8 sheets. The mattress was unusually hot, and then I understood why they provided a desktop fan. The double room wasn't as big as it appeared in the pictures. Looking across at the Radisson, I strongly recommend comparing prices – there really isn't much of a difference."

"A fantastic hot spring resort with the backdrop of the Alps that can only be booked for one night during the week. Before check-in, you can use the water facilities except for the hotel-only hot spring facilities. The changing room in the basement of the hotel is shared between men and women, so you may be disappointed if you change clothes in front of the locker. It is called a hot spring, but you can think of it as a warm water swimming pool (it smells like bleach), and there is a nude zone, so be careful.
There are many beach chairs, so there are plenty of places to rest, and the staff are very friendly. This is the place where the staff was the friendliest during my trip.
The minibar in the room is free, the dinner buffet including the course was delicious, and there was a juicer here, which was nice. Seats are reserved for dinner and breakfast, and there is a reservation name card on the table.
They give you a small herbal salt as a souvenir when you check out, and these kind of small services make you feel good.
The lobby is on the hill about 2nd floor, so I unloaded my luggage and parked for free in the outdoor parking lot below, but later I found out that there is a parking lot accessible by elevator at the bottom of the building. If you are going, please take note.."

Every day, there were several suitcases belonging to other guests in our hallway to the room, making it feel like we had booked a room in a storage closet. Not all costs were fully displayed on the website; upon arrival, an additional €22 city tax and €35 for parking were added, which is incredibly expensive.

Guest UserThe room is a bit packed as the bed is super big. Having said that, the room is nicely designed and decorated. Free mini-bar with daily refill is rarely found in hotels in Europe.
The buffet breakfast is absolutely the highlight. The omelette is crispy outside and molten inside, preserving the freshness and original flavours of all ingredients. Must try!
All hotel staffs are polite and helpful.
In terms of location, whether or not it is convenience, it depends. It is in the middle of Salzburg central station and the old town, going to either location is about 12 minutes walk. Salzburg down town is not big anyway. Everything is in walking distance.

We had a good stay at Holiday Inn Salzburg City. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and in a great location. It’s close to the city center, and many attractions can be reached on foot, which made exploring Salzburg very convenient.
The room was clean and had everything we needed. However, one small issue was that the electric kettle in our room wasn’t working. We tried to contact the front desk after 10:00 PM, but there was no one available to assist us at that time, so we couldn’t get it replaced.

Pleasant little stay about a 10 minute walk from the main station. Rooms were a good size, clean and beds very comfortable. I was also given a free bus pass to use around the city for the period of my stay. Amenities in the room lean towards the basic side, but adequate. Note the check in time was quite late, at 4pm, and check out at 11am, which isn't great for travellers.

strongtea929This hotel isn't old-fashioned, and it's about a ten-minute walk to the train station. The path is flat, so dragging luggage is no problem. The front desk staff are very welcoming and even provide hotel and transportation information in Chinese. They also offer free public transport tickets for the city (perhaps because it's a tourist city, the bus drivers are used to it and never check 😂), which is handy for getting to further places. It's also convenient to walk to the train station and take the 840 bus to Königssee, although you'll need to buy a ticket for that as it's a cross-border bus.

The cleanliness was just okay – there was hair in the towels. On the bright side, there's complimentary coffee and hot chocolate in the lobby available in the afternoons, which was a nice touch.

Guest UserThe place is a stone throw away from the central station and very accessible. Also have free transportation for the number of days u stay with them - ask the staff.
There are free apples and sparkling water you can retrieve from the lobby. It was a really comfortable stay. It was quiet and peaceful. They had a very secure luggage storage that was great. Loved the wall design that allowed me to hang my clothes and dry them as well.
