"Super convenient location - only a ten minute drive from the airport and about fifteen minutes from the train station. It's also easy walking distance from the Ancient City, and all the major tourist locations are easily accessible by taxi or bus.
The room was well kept, and the staff were very helpful in helping me to plan my activities. They even went the extra mile and helped me to get back some jewellery I left in the room after check out.
Big recommend, would definitely stay here again."

Our stay in Lijiang was made truly special by the incredible hospitality of Mr. Afei. From the moment we arrived, he made us feel genuinely welcome and cared for.
Because a room upgrade was available, he kindly offered us a better room, which was a wonderful surprise. He also helped us purchase the tea we were looking for, something we truly appreciated.
When we arrived at the entrance of the ancient town, Mr. Afei came to pick us up and helped us get to the hotel with our luggage. Upon arrival, he welcomed us with tea and fresh fruit, almost like a welcome drink, which was such a thoughtful and lovely gesture.
He even sent us a message on WeChat with the most important places to visit in Lijiang, making sure we wouldn't miss the city's key highlights.
Throughout our trip in China, we had never felt as warmly welcomed anywhere as we did here. Lijiang itself felt like a city that embraced us with warmth, and a great part of that feeling came from the exceptional care and hospitality provided by Mr. Afei.

The receptionist was incredibly kind and helpful. She gave us great food recommendations and even walked us to the restaurant herself, which was such a thoughtful touch!
The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. We stayed for two nights, and they kept the room well-maintained, refilling the water and amenities throughout our stay.
If you’re Muslim, this is also a great option because there are halal restaurants within walking distance, so you don’t have to worry about finding food.
Overall, we had an incredible stay here. The hospitality really made the experience extra special, and I’d definitely stay here again when I’m back in Dali! ❤️"

"The owner's wife was already waiting for us outside the high-speed train station, and she kindly helped us with our heavy luggage and took us to the hotel. She thoughtfully advised us on what to look out for in Shangri-La to avoid altitude sickness. The hotel also offers electric scooters for rent at 50 RMB per day. I rented one to go to Napa Lake, and the owner's wife kindly reminded me to bring extra clothes because it would be colder there. It was a lifesaver that I did, as I was shivering from the cold. The hotel also has many shawls available for free use. In the evening, we also booked a local ******* feast with the owner's wife; the seating arrangements were excellent, and the visual effect was superb. When checking out, the owner's wife told me to cancel my Didi (ride-sharing app) as she would provide a free ride to the high-speed train station. The driver and car arranged were both excellent!"

The wooden inn in the small building is decorated with a plethora of fresh flowers, and each guest room in the inn is unique, spacious and bright, equipped with solid wood furniture and air conditioning. The inn combines the warmth of home with the thoughtful quality of the hotel. Guests can take a break here to read, or drink and chat freely, everything comes with nature.

The hotel has a stunning courtyard exterior, and the interior was also very pretty. It has a more rustic, traditional feel, so don’t expect super modern facilities - but we actually enjoyed the charm of it.
In terms of cleanliness, it could be improved slightly. There was some mould in the bathroom, likely due to the moisture, and we noticed a little dust underneath the sofa. However, the bed itself was clean, which was the most important thing for us. The bed was also slightly firmer than what we’re used to, but this is really just a personal preference and didn’t take away from the overall experience.
The location is about a 20-minute walk to the market square, but it honestly didn’t feel that long as there are plenty of shops, sights and eateries along the way. We actually really liked the quieter location, and there were still plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, so it was quite convenient.
The service was excellent. Everyone was super friendly and helpful, both when communicating with us on WeChat and in person. We stayed for 3 nights and were given a complimentary car ride from the train station, which was very much appreciated. Free drinking water was also provided.
When we checked out, the staff even helped bring our luggage to the nearest exit from the ancient town, which was a huge help as the streets are cobbled and there are some uphill sections towards the exit.
Overall, you really get what you pay for. It was an affordable stay with excellent service, and we were happy with our experience. While the hotel is more rustic and the cleanliness could be improved in some areas, the friendly service, beautiful courtyard and overall value made up for it. We didn’t mind the slightly less convenient location either, especially since the area was quieter and still had plenty of shops and eateries nearby. 😊"

"Extremely satisfied! The hotel's location is fantastic, right by the South Gate of the old city, making sightseeing incredibly convenient. We stayed in a rooftop room with an absolutely stunning view! We had a close-up look at the majestic Cangshan Mountains and the mysterious clouds circling them. The service was very attentive! The front desk staff were so kind, and a charming young man enthusiastically helped us with our luggage both when checking in and checking out.

The room was comfortable and we had fun with the smart room controls with 小度. The sound of the toilet flushing can be a little noisy. For people who are sensitive to sounds, singing from nearby bars can be heard from the room. Location wise, the B&B is located on top of a hill which gave beautiful views of the mountains and Li Jiang Ancient City. Fair warning, the steps can be slippery when wet.

Transportation was extremely convenient; electric bicycles and shuttle buses to the scenic area were right outside. I would definitely stay here again next time. The only downside was that the rooms were a little small, but the private balcony was a nice touch. I heard the owner renovated after May Day, so it will definitely be even better then.

Returning to Dali from Jizu Mountain, I temporarily chose to stay at Jinsuo Island. I have been to Dali many times, and this is my first time on the island. This hotel is indeed the most satisfactory one. The room has an unbeatable sea view. You can see the sea and the sunrise while lying on the bed. The facilities are very smart and the hygiene is also very clean. Super cost-effective!
The breakfast in the sea view restaurant is also a little surprise.

The inn is a tranquil oasis amidst the hustle and bustle, with very comfortable rooms and a beautiful courtyard. They also have friendly cats! The owner's service was exceptionally thoughtful and attentive, making sure everyone was well looked after. The breakfast was plentiful, and I made sure to have a bowl of rice noodles every morning.

Took my mom out for a trip and saw Aling's live stream on Douyin. She came across as very practical, genuine, and unpretentious, so we decided to stay for a few days. Overall, it was a really good experience. As soon as you enter the courtyard, there's a water feature with koi fish, which gives a vibrant and lively feel. The two young men working there were incredibly attentive and patient in answering our questions, and their demeanor was very refined. We also had the good fortune to meet a compatible travel couple, Sister Liu and her husband, at Aling's place. It felt like such a serendipitous encounter for people from the north and south to meet here. In the evening, we gathered in Aling's courtyard to chat, drink tea, and share our travel experiences. It was truly delightful. Thank you, Aling, for bringing us all together!

If you’re planning a trip to Lijiang, this is absolutely the place you should choose. I spent a lot of time searching for the perfect accommodation, and I’m so glad I did — because this place exceeded all my expectations.
The location and the view are simply unbeatable. From the hotel, you get a breathtaking panoramic view over Lijiang Old Town and Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. Honestly, I don’t think you could ask for a better view. It’s the kind of scenery where you can take beautiful photos without even having to leave the hotel. Even the charming little slope right in front of the entrance is already a perfect photo spot.
The location is also extremely convenient. It’s very easy to get a taxi, and you can quickly reach the main roads to go shopping, explore other parts of Lijiang, or travel to the airport and train station.
The owner was incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful, always making sure everything was comfortable. The breakfast was delicious, and the whole stay was genuinely wonderful from beginning to end.
For me, this was a 10-star experience on my first trip to Lijiang. And considering the very reasonable price for such an exceptional location, view, service, and overall quality, I can wholeheartedly recommend staying here.
If you’re coming to Lijiang, don’t hesitate — book this place. You won’t regret it. ❤️

If you're visiting Lijiang's Shuhe Ancient Town, you absolutely cannot miss the amazing Guanxin Inn! The environment here is beautiful, with lush greenery in the courtyard and fresh air that instantly helps you relax. The bedding in the rooms is exceptionally comfortable – a good night's sleep here will leave you feeling completely refreshed! The service is incredibly thoughtful and attentive; no matter what you need, they'll help you out, making you feel as warm and welcome as if you were at home. Step outside the inn and you can immediately experience the ancient town's unique charm and leisurely pace of life, making it perfect for a relaxing vacation and capturing some great photos! I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and immersive experience of Lijiang's culture!

Located next to Heilongtan Park, the biggest surprise was its 'tranquil yet central' location. You can reach the park in just a few minutes, and the Old Town is about a ten-minute walk. This allows you to easily immerse yourself in the bustling atmosphere whenever you like, then retreat to a peaceful environment. The room's balcony was a great bonus. The hosts were generally warm and welcoming, with thoughtful touches like airport pick-up, tea service, and afternoon tea. Minor drawbacks included the narrow alley making parking a bit tricky, and during summer, there was no snow on the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, plus finding a taxi around the Old Town was difficult.
Overall, the value for money is better than staying right in the heart of the Old Town, making it perfect for a leisurely trip to Lijiang. We never wanted to leave the guesthouse each day.
Finally, a complaint about Trip.com: the same room type was nearly 200 yuan more expensive than on Qunar, which felt like a lot of wasted money! Aren't they part of the same platform company? I'd really like to hear an explanation from Trip.com customer service.

The guesthouse has a fantastic location, just a 5-minute walk to the center of the old town. The owner was incredibly welcoming, offering to help with luggage and providing travel tips. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and stylishly decorated. Although it's on the street, it was very quiet at night; the attention to detail was excellent. My stay was perfect for a few days, and the value for money was fantastic. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Lijiang!
