"Discovering this Zen-inspired hotel nestled in the vibrant heart of Wenshu Monastery area was truly the most delightful surprise of my Chengdu trip! Stepping into the courtyard, I was immediately soothed by the grey tiles, white walls, dry landscape garden, and rustic wooden decor. The 'Buddhist Affinity' screen in the lobby and the Four-Faced Buddha statues exuded a tranquil Zen charm, and even the staff's 'Namaste' greetings were incredibly gentle. The room featured a Chinese Zen design with solid wood furniture and a tea set by the window. The bedding was so soft that I slept soundly all night, and from the balcony, I could catch glimpses of the traditional Western Sichuan folk houses in the alleyways. The location is absolutely perfect; it's a 5-minute walk to Wenshu Monastery subway station, surrounded by hot pot restaurants and snack stalls, and just a 10-minute taxi ride to Chunxi Road. Although the breakfast was simple, it was exquisite, offering vegetarian dishes alongside Western pastries, and even the freshly ground coffee was rich and fragrant. The staff also proactively recommended authentic local eateries and hidden gems. To find such a tranquil and conveniently located retreat in the midst of the bustling city, offering both serene Zen ambiance and easy access to urban life, is incredible value for money. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Chengdu!"

"This B&B is right at the entrance to the scenic area, and the hygiene is excellent. You can look up at the entire ******* village from your window. The hostess is so kind, enthusiastic, and incredibly efficient. What's even better is that she's also an experienced traveler herself, and she gave us so many great itinerary suggestions. She really gave us the courage to overcome altitude sickness and embrace the stunning beauty of the Great Northwest! "Extremely satisfied! They provided a lot of help with our pre-trip inquiries for our road trip and also assisted with booking a chartered car for airport/station transfers. On our last day, we checked out very early and they even packed us breakfast, heating up the milk for us – truly amazing! The room was also very clean. Next time I come to Jiuzhaigou, I'll definitely stay here again."

"The entire courtyard is quiet and tastefully decorated. The room is a family-friendly one, located in the inner courtyard. The ambiance is excellent. The sofa area is separated from the bedroom. While not very spacious, it's comfortable and clean, with good air conditioning. The service was very friendly, including welcome fruit. They answered all questions, also known as ”Bi Lai.” The room also has its own cafe, and the Bingmei 15 is quite good. The downsides are that the water pressure from the electric water heater isn't very strong, and the mattress on the 1.5-meter king-size bed is a bit firm, but the 1.2-meter bed is fine."

"During the National Day holiday, I looked at the itinerary and found that everywhere was crowded, so I took my children to travel during off-peak hours. The reviews for Shanglaoshe on the platform were very high, and when I saw that it was very close to my destination, Guanyin Temple, I decided to book a room there without hesitation. It was afternoon when we arrived at Guanyin Town. The map showed that the traffic on the mountain was extremely congested. We drove up slowly and found that it was difficult to pass other cars because the road was narrow. When we arrived at the hotel, the boss's big boy came down immediately to help us with all the luggage and upgraded the room. The boss is very warm and friendly. The location of the hotel is unique. You can see Guanyin Temple when you look up. Surrounded by mountains and overlooking Guanyin Town, the hotel has a delicate layout and a sanitary environment. Had a good quiet sleep at night. The next morning, we had a rich breakfast and went to Guanyin Temple. When we went down the mountain, there were already many tourists. I was glad that I chose to stay in Leshe for one night to avoid the crowds."

"The hotel is in the great location and you feel like you moved in time. Room is clean and shower works well. Beautiful courtyard downstairs. Breakfast let us down. There was no fresh orange juice or average food. The room can get hot even with air conditioner on. I did not find it as an issue but if you plan to arrive in August or June it could be a problem. There is a cosy wibe in this place and we would come back. Price is excellent."

"A summer trip to Emei Mountain was made even better by this hot spring resort's ”Summer Adventure” experience – a perfect choice for families with kids! The moment you step into the hotel, you're captivated by its forest-like environment – ​​the windows offer panoramic views of rolling green hills, and every breath is filled with the fresh scent of nature. Just a 10-minute walk from the scenic area entrance, you can easily return to the hotel for a relaxing soak in the cool spring pools after exploring the area with your kids, offering privacy and convenience. The biggest surprise was coinciding with the ”Summer Adventure” event! Saturday's hot spring fun was a paradise for the kids: water battles with splashing water, kayaking races for the whole family, and a ”South-to-North Water Diversion” game testing teamwork – the children were soaking wet from head to toe, yet still clamoring for ”one more round!” The butler service was impeccable: they proactively contacted us during booking, sending scenic area guides via WeChat; upon check-in, they provided children's slippers and mosquito repellent patches; and upon check-out, simply leave your room key in the room – completely freeing up your hands. The room has its own private hot spring bath. My skin felt so smooth after soaking in it. The butler told me that the hot spring water is radon from 3,000 meters underground, rich in 24 kinds of minerals. Even my fatigue was washed away."

You could easily spend an entire afternoon here without getting bored."
