"If you are looking for a traditional style ancient place to stay in, then this is the place. I booked a family room with two queens sized beds upstairs and downstairs and with two tea rooms in each, both had a beautiful river view. When I opened the door, the shops were just next door and opposite me, it felt like I was in a resort but with lots of shops, restaurants tea houses etc and beautiful scenery, the town had lots of gift shops and yummy food."

"I feel like I was mislead, but I feel as though I cannot complain too much given how central this place is.
The shower connected to the faucet in the bathroom with no wet/dry separation made me uncomfortable.
You guys didn't have all the amenities you said you would have, such as a razor. It's fine you don't have it, but why say you do?

In this homestay in Zhifou Ancient Town, I unexpectedly encountered the ideal slow life. The inn is in an excellent location. You can see the gurgling river when you open the window. You are awakened by the waves in the morning and fall asleep with the sound of running water at night, as if you are living in an ink painting.
The room is surprisingly clean, the bedding is soft and comfortable, and the owner's care can be seen in the details (especially the cleanliness of the bathroom!). The boss is enthusiastic but not too intrusive, and he also kindly recommended the niche route of the ancient town. I love sitting on the riverside terrace to drink tea and watch the black sail boats swaying by, and all the troubles are taken away by the water~
If you want to temporarily leave the hustle and bustle of the city, this is definitely a good place to heal your body and mind. It has been collected in the ”definitely come again” list!"

CCherrie MayStayed at this hotel for one month.. and it was amazing time. The room is very clean.. they used to change my beddings and towels everyday and clean my room every now and then. The owner are very kind and accommodating. The place is good with nearby small restaurants.10-13 minutes from the Songjiang Sports Center subway station Line 9. Total, it was really smooth stay. Gonna go back here again. Thanks to the owner.. so kind♥️

SStefanGI randomly found a cost-effective small hotel on a business trip. I didn't expect it to be very good... It's clean and hygienic. I would like to give you a suggestion. Don't use PVC slippers, they smell bad. It's better to use EVA slippers.

The store also provides Disney pick-up and drop-off service, and you can store luggage for free. The room is also very hygienic and clean, with its own layout and arrangement. Although it is small, it is well-equipped. The disadvantage is that the sound insulation effect is average, but the store thoughtfully used sound insulation cotton. Except for the sound of walking outside the corridor, the sound from other rooms is basically inaudible.

MM29421****We booked late and only one room was left on the first floor. The room wasn't big, but it had a small balcony overlooking the old street's river, which offered a nice view. Unfortunately, there didn't seem to be any fish in the river. The guesthouse's location was quite convenient; it was just a left turn at the first intersection into the old street. It was very convenient whether you were going out or just strolling through the old street.

Someone is receiving emergency treatment at the hospital, so I needed to find a place to stay as close to the hospital as possible. I didn't have high expectations; just a bed for family members to take turns resting overnight was fine.
The facilities are very basic, but it has all the essentials. It has three floors, but no elevator; you have to walk up the stairs. Most of the guests are family members of people receiving treatment at the hospital. The landlady and the cleaning lady are both very polite.

BBlackeyedsamuraiBooked this hotel last minute, cause my favorite hotel is closing down business this month and i wanted something nearer cause I’m well versed with the surrounding areas, 1: the first red flag is the reception, mail and deliveries are all piled up and falling off shelves, it’s so dirty and humid, it looks like a hoarder’s poach, they’re no waiting chairs, so you’ll stand while they process the guests that came before you until it’s your turn !! The receptionists are very nice and helpful .
2; no room housekeeping ( you’ll have to ask for someone to come take the rubbish and give you towels or change your bedding.
3: THE FILTH!!! The filth is on level 1000/100 the grime made it hard for me to shower with my eyes open, I’m not sure if the place has a manager and if they care about the the wellbeing of the clients , because from what i saw, the cleaners don’t even bother, the floor had food stains from i think when they just opened, the sink🤮 the bathroom ( that one corner gave me the hibbigibeis) the toilet seat was broken
, everything in the bathroom was broken and dirty , then my charger fell in the space which is between the bathroom glass and the bed, got down to retrieve it and i decided it was best to just a get a new charger instead.
The place if cleaned and cared for would be an amazing hotel apartment, it has great amenities , a washing machine a fridge and a drying rack if you upgrade to a bigger room, a kitchenette that would be great if you are interested in cooking and staying longer and it’ has an Aldi downstairs, a gym and lots of other great places surrounding it . I really hope the owners would read this and take it into consideration and carry out serious supervision or else their property will lose value, The hygiene of the hotel does not only ensure the health and wellness of the visitors who sleep in those walls but also keeps the property value up. Dirt And filth only brings it down and puts the health of others at risk . I really hope they change standards.
