I booked this place after seeing the great reviews on Trip.com, and it really lived up to them. It's super close to the ancient town's archway ticket gate, so it was quite easy to find after getting dropped off by taxi. The soundproofing is excellent; it was very quiet at night, and I slept really well. The room was also very spacious, and it was lovely to relax on the small balcony in the afternoon with some tea and sunshine. The owners, a couple, were incredibly kind. They helped us with our luggage both when we arrived and when we left, and even gave me a bag of local specialties. Their dog is adorable too! I highly recommend staying here when you visit Zhouzhuang.

This is a great Republic of China-era hotel, tucked away in a quiet spot yet still central. The courtyard is very unique, and the hotel's location is excellent. It's about 800 meters from popular attractions like Geyuan Garden, Heyuan Garden, Dongguan Street, Pishi Street, Dongguan Ancient Ferry, and Xing Street – all within easy reach. There are also plenty of dining options; the famous Erchun Fried Rice is right next door, and old brands like Fuchun Teahouse, Maopailou, and Gonghechun are all nearby. It's incredibly convenient for an after-dinner stroll. The service is excellent, and the rooms are clean and hygienic. Located at the entrance of a small alley, it's wonderfully peaceful and beautiful. If time permits, brewing a pot of tea and sitting in the courtyard to soak in the 'slow Yangzhou' vibe would be truly delightful!

Stayed here with my family and a friend for a few days. The hotel is very tastefully decorated and has great character. Laomendong is a busy pedestrian area but even though we had windows facing onto the street we could rarely hear much from outside. Breakfast is simple but tasty and healthy, it is the same every day though so if you like variety you might want to skip breakfast and go out. Staff were super helpful, moving our friend's room so we could be closer and helping with directions etc. If you like the idea of staying in Laomendong, I highly recommend.

The location is fantastic! Lion Grove Garden is right downstairs, and it's a super short walk to Suzhou Museum and Humble Administrator's Garden, less than 10 minutes. Even Tiger Hill, Lingering Garden, the metro station, and train station are all easily accessible. It was great to be able to pop back to the hotel for a rest during the day after some sightseeing and then head out again without wasting any time. They even upgraded our standard room for free! The room itself was huge, with a separate shower and a massive bathtub – perfect for a relaxing soak after a long day of walking. Seriously, thank you! I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in town and will recommend it to all my friends.

This guesthouse is absolutely, positively incredible!!! The wonderful staff even gave us a room upgrade! Seriously, hands down the best service I've ever experienced at a guesthouse within a scenic area. Inside, there's a charming little garden, and the views from the second floor are absolutely stunning!! You know that feeling when you wake up early, open your window, and a gorgeous garden is right outside?! Pure bliss!!!!!! (It's so picturesque, even unedited photos turned out amazing!!)

Great location for Zhouzhuang, zhouzhuang itself is magical. A welcoming very friendly lady came outside to greet us. She gave us a map and was always willingy helpful when asked which places to visit and where best to eat. And her suggestions were always spot on, the restaurant from where I had the fish, which was unique and delicious. We were lucky, i feel we had a free guide with us. Also very spacious and clean room, perfect shower and bathroom.

Wuxi Nianhua Bay Lianhua Bay Inn Review I stayed at Wuxi Nianhua Bay Lianhua Bay Inn during the cherry blossom season, and my overall experience was great. The inn generously upgraded our room for free, which came with a large balcony overlooking the main street of the scenic area – the view was absolutely fantastic. Upon entering the park, electric carts are available to transport guests and their luggage directly to the inn's doorstep, making the entire process effortless. The inn manager was very kind and even helped us carry our luggage up to the second floor. The room decor was minimalist, and while the facilities weren't brand new, the value for money was perfectly acceptable for the price. The inn boasts an excellent location right on the scenic area's main street. It's a two-minute walk to Nianhua Tower and another two minutes to the performance pool, making it incredibly convenient for catching shows. In fact, it was even more convenient than the Duo Luomi Hotel within the scenic area. However, I did encounter a minor issue: the staff's knowledge about the scenic area's attractions wasn't very detailed. When we asked about the best spots for viewing cherry blossoms, the manager could only give us a general area, not precise directions. On a rainy day, when we inquired about the drone show schedule, they only mentioned a risk of cancellation and advised us to scan a QR code for details. The next day, we asked a different manager about the cherry blossoms in Luming Valley, and they frankly admitted they had never been there and couldn't answer, only suggesting we take the small train. I had assumed the inn could help reserve tickets for the small train, but we were told tickets had to be purchased at the station after 9 AM. We spent two hours enjoying the cherry blossoms first, only to arrive at the station at 9 AM and find ticketing hadn't started yet. The ticket booth didn't open until 10 AM, and tickets weren't actually distributed until 10:30 AM. Thankfully, we eventually got on the small train to Luming Valley, and the experience was surprisingly delightful. It was filled with birdsong and floral fragrance, with very few tourists, allowing us to almost have the entire cherry blossom forest to ourselves. Enjoying the scenery with wind chimes and birdsong created a unique and tranquil atmosphere that you wouldn't find at more popular spots. Overall, the manager's service attitude was good, but their professional knowledge regarding the scenic area's attractions was lacking, which felt a bit confusing. Moreover, most staff members in the scenic area provided imprecise directions. I hope they can improve this through further training. Putting that aside, both the inn and the scenic area are well worth experiencing. The cherry blossoms are breathtaking, and the atmosphere is serene and peaceful. Although I missed the drone show that day, the other live performances were spectacular. The accommodation package included admission to the scenic area, offering excellent value for money. My overall stay was very satisfying.

The hotel is lovely and perfectly located in the heart of Tongli town. Staying there and taking an early morning walk around 7 gave me such a peaceful and relaxing experience. If you have large luggage, it’s best to contact the owner (she speaks English well and very friendly, willing to help.) for assistance, as the streets in Tongli are paved with uneven stones.

We had a wonderful stay here. Hotel staff were very kind; they met us at the entrance to the ancient town to help us with our bags and lead the way. The rooms are lovely and have air conditioning and complimentary water bottles. The location is perfect. Would absolutely recommend.

First off, the location is great. Its just outside of 山塘街 shantangjie, so I could easily return to the accom in the middle of the day when I wanted (to sleep, use the toilet or umbrella). There are some really good eateries nearby and receiving food delivery is easy. Secondly, the service was excellent! They sent me a detailed video showing how to get to the hotel, and also checked how I was coming. From the moment I arrived at suzhou railway, they started waiting for me at the street so I wouldnt miss their accom. They also gave me very useful tips for where to go given the time of day, and helped me with the route to go to places. They also received my taobao parcels. And everyday they gave a fruit platter with local fruits Lastly, the room was very cosy. The view was beautiful but still private. They provided a tea set and good tea. The toilet was very modern and had a warm toilet seat. The bed was also comfy. The price-performance ratio is very good. I will choose to stay here again when I come to Suzhou, and also recommend my friends and family to stay here
